I also get non-customers complaining that I won't let them use the bathroom without paying first. bruh it's company policy; what the fuck do you want me to do about it; I have to enforce the company rules due to fact people that have trashed our bathrooms in the past hence the reason you have to pay to use the bathroom. If you want to complain that I'm not being fair about the bathroom, you can take your ass out of my store and go use the bathroom elsewhere. Lawn care technician here. Most of those signs are required by law in the state you are in. As long as the chemical that treated the lawn is dry, you should be ok with walking on it. If it's wet, don't. Depending on the company, it's usually a mixture of urea, water and a broad leaf herbicide. I get the frustration at the signs, they should be bigger to notify people.

And this woman and her daughter were there before we opened and her daughter goes, "When do they open mom?" IT IS THIS BAD FOR REAL I volunteer at a museum, and we have a touch tank with an established line. Lots of signs, roped off sections, etc. There's a big, obvious section at the front where people line up, and then we let a chunk in for a certain time, they leave out the other way, rinse and repeat. Everything is explained VERY specifically. Yet guess what??? People go AROUND THE BACK to the exit, and then try to ENTER FROM THERE. Sir/Ma'am, there is a HUGE line of people out in the open that you simply IGNORED, and then came AROUND BACK, to an often ROPED OFF SPOT, with a HUGE SIGN sitting in the middle of the exit that is very clearly labelled EXIT in MULTIPLE LANGUAGES. WHERE IS IT NOT CLICKING????? Similar thing happens with the touch tank itself! We've had a few little fish and a spiny lobster in there (We move animals around an awful lot because of renovations and such), but despite the fact that we YELL about them being NOT TOUCHABLE, and then making everyone SWEAR that they understand the rules, SO MANY PEOPLE STILL TRY TO TOUCH THEM. For the love of god, the spiny lobster is off limits BECAUSE IT HURTS TO TOUCH. The sheer number of people in this world that ignore the obvious and don't care about anything else is ATROCIOUS.

People would move the sign, scan their first item, the machine would say "Do you wish to continue?" while displaying a message saying that it's card only, and asking the customer if they intend to pay with card, to which they'd press "yes" without reading the message, then scan the rest of their items, get all the way to payment, and then stare at the person on the till, waiting for them to come fix it. And every. SINGLE time, they'd say "It didn't tell me" and I get the urge to say "Yes it DID, you crusty shitstain on the pants of humanity, you just can't fucking READ!". Nah for the house thing I’ll explain as a designer: that much solid wood in a complete frame is RIDICULOUSLY expensive to the point where you need some of the best carpenters in the world to get that quality of finish done. Not a bad home, just not suitable to everyone’s taste.
