Burning Crusade est surement le 2e plus gros succès après Naxxramas 2007, mais Icecrown Citadel est vraiment pas loin derrière avec plusieurs millions de vues sur des chaines et plateformes différentes. C'était plutôt une bonne nouvelle, car j'ai su que même plus de 5 ans après, mes vidéos ont toujours beaucoup de succès, malgré les changements du jeu par rapport à la difficulté et au raid 10 qui ne m'avantage pas du tout.
Elle continue de faire des vues et j'ai encore des commentaires régulièrement pour cette vidéo, c'est un raid qui a beaucoup marqué les joueurs, ce qui favorise le succès de la vidéo. Il faut dire que l'histoire du roi Liche est vraiment passionnante.
Pour l'introduction je n'avais vraiment aucune idée, je ne savais pas comment commencer le scénario, et finalement c'est un fan qui m'a dit que ça pourrait être sympa de parler de la croisade d'argent. D'où les deux paladins au début de la vidéo, le premier est Miles que vous avez pu connaitre avec ses différents guides à l'époque sur le site Millenium, et le second est Sophistie qui lui était le directeur général adjoint de Millenium.
De mes trois vidéos WoW qui impliquent des acteurs pour les voix, c'est la seule qui a été intégralement doublée en français. La seule, car cela demande beaucoup de travail, mais surtout que trouver de bons acteurs professionnels français pour du travail bénévole est compliqué.
J'ai contacté énormément de gens, et finalement j'ai trouvé deux professionnels qui ont accepté de faire le doublage, le premier, le regretté Claude Naslot, il a doublé un personnage important dans the witcher 2, et travaillait dans la pub et faisait les voix-off pour les publicités que l'ont peut voir à la télé, et la seconde, Isabelle Altemer, est plus spécialisée dans les contes pour enfants.
En voyant le résultat final, les acteurs étaient vraiment contents, il ne s'imaginait pas ça, ils ont montré la vidéo à leurs enfants et me proposait d'aller boire un café sur Paris.
Mais comme je sais qu'il y a beaucoup de gens qui préfèrent la VO (c'est également mon cas) j'ai préféré mettre la version anglaise sur Daily Motion pour illustrer cet article. D'ailleurs pour la VO, comme je le disais dans mon commentaire sur Ulduar, Christopher M Grant m'accompagnera encore, également sur Dragon Soul, car il est du genre à m'envoyer des mails pour me demander « quand est-ce qu'on rebosse ensemble ? ». Par contre Genna Bain ne me suivra pas plus longtemps à cause de son emploi du temps, c'est une connaissance de Christopher qui rejoint le casting de mes vidéo : Anne Richmond, qui au passage, a une voix qui colle juste parfaitement. Le premier teaser est sorti très tôt, dès que j'avais fait quelques prises de vue avec la guilde. Il y a un petit clin d'oeil par rapport à la fin d'Ulduar.
C'est le premier donjon qui intègre une cinématique, cette fois c'est uniquement à la fin, mais pour Dragon Soul il y en aura deux. C'était que c'est la première fois que je me servais d'une cinématique de Blizzard pour boucler la vidéo.
Les dessins qu'on voit dans le générique ont été fait par Laura, c'est compliqué de faire dans l'originalité pour un générique, mais elle m'a permis de faire quelque chose de bien sympa.
Mes meilleurs souvenirs de moviemaker sont les présentations de mes vidéos lors des salons et la rencontre avec les fans, et cette fois c'était carrément la grande scène pendant un grand salon parisien, donc j'étais vraiment ravi. La vidéo a été diffusée deux jours de suite au salon et a toujours rempli la salle, vers le milieu de la vidéo on n'avait du mal a circuler dans les allées, car les gens s'arrêtaient pour regarder. C'est ce qu'on voit pendant le générique de fin.

Found one cool detail that I’ve missed over all these years. In the beginning, the male narrator wields Shadow’s Edge. And at the final fight, he wields Shadowmourne instead. So it’s like he completed Shadowmourne during the course of conquering ICC, which I think is an amazing detail.

This video show that your style worked in anilla/bc but didnt work in wolk and so on, the format dosent work anymore because now everyone can do the raid and see the last boss its no longer "exlusive" to the "hardcore" and because of this it remove the only thing that made it special Now its just always the same and its what make yours videos pretty boring its just Intro to boss, adventuruers say stuff that dont really matter since its in the dungeon jounral like "Ho this boss is named this and that" then they run boss sometime say something but clearly since everyone have doen this boss everyone know his quotes, then little part battle with epic han zimmer or god of war music because what els? Then boss die and its next boss with exactly the same thing.... Like i really enjoyed watching burning crusade the movie when i was 16 and was really like "omg this is awesome" but on ICC i really felt like "Ok...its always the same"

@@AdriatheBwitch When blizzard changed the raid format i had to do something, because yes everyone can do the raid and then the interest/hype for my video could drop... That's why there is a difference between my videos Naxxramas/BC and Ulduar/ICC .. I edited Naxxramas in 3 weeks, but Icecrown Citadel in 6 months. There is much more work on my 3 last WoW movie, and it was a huge succes despite the new raid format. I understand when you say "its always the same", but not since the beginning I think. But yes, after Ulduar, ICC and Dragon Soul I also said to myself this thought.. So at some point i'm agree with you Sorry for my english and thanks for you comment !

@@JackRomain Dont you worry, i am not a native engish either so i am not very watchfull on yours, but anyway i had no problems understanding you =) I know and im sorry if my message can sound a bit like flame but i actually loved BC the movie it was like awesome to me especially the part in hyjal i thought them usic was great i often like to soemtime re-watch the part with waves, the first 3 bosses are for me a part i really ike, i dont know why maybe because of the style like when you make the characters go back and forth like if it was back and forth in time since its cavern of time it makes sesne and its cool idea Parts i liked less and find silly in a funny way was when that Morogrim boss from SSC is slaming his foot in rythme with them music, i find it silly >< i dont find it epic but funny And yes i do understand that you put lot of work in your videos since ulduar, since ask for ppl who actually does voice acting and add a lot of things to make it look less like all the raids someone would do in the game, but i agree with you on that "its allthe same" part on ICC i already felt it but DS clearly was too much for me i remember even in my guild ppl said the same as i say right now tha you have the "talking then fight pattern" To be honnest i have no idea how to fix this, because its true that raids deserve to have their movies and lore epxlained around them but it is hard to make the perfect mix of lore and gameplay without it looking like some homework (like for exemple when the actores say the tactics on marrowgar it sound not very lore) and in another hand if ppl want to see the actual boss they will just watch a video from top world guilds so yeah its very hard to show that epic dificulty on the gameplay part anymore Also what i have a "big" problem with is the musics choices, i mean, its not bad sure, the problem is that its just already known, everyone know "to glory" from two step from hell and in the same way everyone use these to make everything look epic and it quickly become old =/ like i heard these like 500 times without even searching them on my own on YT they are just so much used that it become annoying and no more speciale and maybe even out of place considering sometime the person iwll relie solly on the music titile (river styx for exemple in the intro) which dosent fit in the ambiance of icy ICC. But biggest problem to me is that two step from hell even if its good do always the same too, i mean sometime i myself confuse to glory and protectors of earth because for me it sound nearly the same =/ Anyway thanks for your fast asnwer and again i really dont try to be salty or hating on it

Actually, Broxigar Saurfang (aka Broxigar the Red) was sent back in time thanks to an magic anomaly and placed him 10,000 years back. He befriended Tyrande and was given an axe made of wood created by Cenarius. Due to his obssesion of dying a honorable death, he had no qualms with jumping into a portal taking him to the demonspawn where he would slaughter enough demons to make Sargeras come and stop him. While he was defeated almost instantly he did manage to scratch the Titan's leg.

Now, consider this: Compared to Sargeras, Deathwing is about as dangerous as an armor plated housefly. Fortunately, the good guys won the War of the Ancients, so Sargeras never showed up.

Heres a thing to think about, in the lich king ingame trailer, terenas speaks of his son, whose name was being whispered by forests, Arthas...Terenas speaks like he knew arthas will become lichking, then terenas himself lichking, i smell a future expansion...:D

Power and magic doesn't just happen, it takes concentration, and focus. Tirion won at Lights hope because it was holy ground. Here Frostmourne is on home turf and more powerful. Even still, Arthas had to use a good bit of energy to keep Tirion frozen, making him weak enough for us to fight. Arthas was still more powerful than us, as shown when he just kills the whole raid. However, Arthas starts resurrecting and moves focus to that, Tirion seeing this, desperately prays for help, and breaks out.
