Iceland News Review: What Happens When A Polar Bear Visits Iceland

I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and have begun watching regularly. You're always interesting, I enjoy your choice of topics, and I like your American perspective. Question: how to the polar bears get from Greenland to Iceland? Do they actually swim that distance? (I would think not...) Do they hitch rides on icebergs?

generally through a combination of floating on a block of ice and swimming. they can actually swim for hundreds of kilometres if they feel they need to!

Even though we may have better opportunities for cycling here in Germany... there is always the annoyance of car drivers stopping on cycle paths. Or not paying much attention to the cycle paths on the road and using them as normal roads. It's the same everywhere.

from what we understand authorities in those countries are concerned about possible pathogens being introduced to an environment where they could do a lot of damage. it's a complicated topic for sure!

Sad of the murderous rage Icelanders have against polar bears. A few cents of lead to take the polar bear down, when if given the chance and older bear would welcome you with open arms and eat you. Probably not a bad policy and i love bears, that don't view me as food.
