I’m originally from Middletown NY, close to Otisville. My Dad is a mason that had to do a job for Jim and Susan around 2018. As a single father, he took me and my brother to their plot of land and I was lucky enough to get to hand feed these bears and see how gentle they really are. Bears are pretty intelligent creatures so they can sense and appreciate the deep connection that this couple has. Sure, that danger is always there but it's all about how long you train, how they have been raised, and understanding how the relationship with the animal works. The more dangerous the animal is, the harder you need to work to achieve the relationship and do you're research.

Bears are primarily brawlers, not ambush predators like tigers so they don't get the pounce instinct that big cats do when they see a person's back so bears are much less dangerous overall. @thezanzibarbarian57294 жыл бұрын
Matt Sivits - If you own a cat or dog that's passed away and you have no feelings for it, you're just plain weird. In 2006, we adopted (OK! She adopted us!) a white & black cat. We already had 2 cats and one thundery, wet day, I was sorting out rubbish when I heard a meowing. I honestly thought, somehow, our 4 month old kitten (Twinkle as the missus named her!) had gotten into the bin bag, so I searched it. Nothing. But could hear meowing. So turned around and under my car was this white and black kitten. About the same size as ours. But looking thin, scrawny and tatty. So I put a bit of food out for her (As we later found out!) which she ate. For the next 1/2 hour, she sat looking through the cat flap. So as she looked wet, I opened the door, put a cushion by a radiator and a bit more food. She came in, ate the food and fell asleep on the cushion by the radiator. And that is how Tatty, as I named her, joined the family. Sadly, December 17th 2019, she was put down as her liver had failed. I'd taken her to the vet earlier that day as she had gone off her food, but was still drinking water. I now know it's a sign of liver failure. But I honestly thought she'd be OK still. It wasn't until they did a scan on her that they saw a multitude of inoperable growths in her liver. I can't ever recall ever being that upset from any one of my family, grand parents or both parents passing, who saddened me so much. Even writing this makes be take in a few sharp and heavy breaths. But also makes me smile remembering her. The house till feels empty. We have one cat now (The two who grew up with Tatty, both disappeared!), who was an offspring of the cat who was about the same age as Tatty was. So she's sadly missed but will never be forgotten.

It's soothing and a great way to bond since most of these bears don't have a mother to nurture them.

Are you russian? As an American we love your brother bear interactions too!

See how the bear reacted at 1:13 after he snipped at the other bear? It was just like a kid who knew he did something bad and got caught lol….definitely knows who is the boss!
