@@norizanhassan3041 Even if it's cold (around -2°C when I was there) I'd say go in winter. Cause then you might be able to witness one of the most magical natural phenomenons this world has to offer. The Nothern Lights. It's an experience you'll for sure never forget.

Okay, this is coming from an icelandic person. Please, please, PLEASE be careful while driving on icelandic roads. They are really dangerous and sadly way to many foreigners get involved in car crashes. A few tips, our sheep roam free during the summer until september and they WILL be on the road, crossing them or just chilling and not giving a fu*k. Also Iceland isn’t called Iceland for nothing, the weather can change so quickly in just a matter of minutes. NEVER go unprepared on the highlands, do not go driving that rented yaris and think that you can cross rivers and go over mountains. Last, icelanders can be a bit of a jerks when it comes to driving but if you see horses don’t park at the middle of the road, make sure that cars have plenty of space to pass by you in both directions, and if that isn’t possible just keep on going, i promise you will see more horses. Please be kind to our nature, if not you can get some very high and expensive fine, respect the signs and have fun! Sorry for the long post and most importantly, enjoy your stay in Iceland❤️

Birta Dögg I went and it was the best Experience of my life but I do agree with you with the driving. If it wasn’t for Google earth out of nowhere, the roads are completely turned white and you couldn’t see more than 1 foot in front of you. There were no guard rails ... illicit almost 10 four minutes and I was lucky enough to have one person driving in front of me so I can see the red lights barely...I went in July and for the most part it was DAY the whole time and I still Ran into this type of weather. Please be careful and be aware of your surroundings. But it is the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my entire life. I believe the entire world should help to preserve this as in my opinion, the best place to visit on earth. It has a combination of glaciers, hot springs, just pure beauty unimaginable by any person. It's so surreal, so, amazing. This is a place I would consider living here one day. It looks so amazing, I know I'm only 15 but I'm saving money to visit this place one day, maybe try to be a foreign exchange student for somewhere in Europe. And I can say after page after page I read about it, it is where I hope one day I can visit.

Her only complaint was the constant breeze. The wind chill was difficult to tolerate. Other than that, nothing but positive things to say. She highly recommends visiting.

_Almighty_ Come and visit ! :) It's hard to say which is the best time. It's all depends on what do you like. Summer is a time when most tourists coming here, because of the weather.. well our summers may by disappointng for some folks as summers here are not very hot. Autumn, is also nice, and prices are lower as I've heard... Autumn also can be nice... same goes for the spring... It all depends on what do you like to do and see. For example I know some Northern Lights fans who came here in the Aurora season which is Mmm... September to April..... Winter is a right time for some folks as summer for some others. Our languages are not that different :) I've got some cousins in Norway, and they speak Norwegian only, and we do understand each other (sometimes we're using English).

I have been to Iceland 5 times. Each time I have had an amazing experience and made wonderful friends. I was there for new years in 2017 AMAZING! Winter in iceland brings out a completely new side of the country. The glaciers turn vivid blue and there are things that can only be done in winter. It's worth a 2nd trip if you have already been in Spring, summer or Fall. As good as this Video is there is so much more to see and explore than can be put into any one video. Hopefully you are inspired and go and experience Iceland for yourself!

I went ti iceland a few years ago. Went to all the places in the golden circle as well as the waterfall you go behind, the blue lagoon, skogafoss, the black beach and Reykjavik. It was an amazing trip and I hope to go to iceland again someday.

I just came back from Iceland and will return in January. Incredible country with amazing people. It is ranked one of the safest countries on earth. I truly love Icelandic people. Descended from Norwegian Vikings who didn't want to bow down to their chieftains and their Irish wives, Icelanders are paradigms of awesomeness. So, if you are dead-set on going, make sure you don't forget the following: (Ignore my spelling mistakes please :) ) 1. Gullfoss! Need I say how much I love Gullfoss! Such an incredible waterfall. You can view it from the top, the middle level or from the bottom (only in the summers though). Enjoying gazing at the wonders of mother nature and look at the glacier at the horizon! It is simply breathtaking! 2. Geysir! Geysir is quite mad! Every ten minutes it pops hot water out. You must be careful not to miss out though since it isn't just by the road. It takes a bit of a walk from the road to get to where this drunk Geysir pops up water into the skies. You will most like run into tourists gazing at a smaller one by the road and helplessly waiting for it to act. Don't stand there and waste time. Walk up a bit more. 3. The national park to see the drowning pool and to see the area where earth's tectonic plates that separate two continents is located. You can also see a field that looks like a chopper pad but it is a national cemetery. What a bliss! The good news is that you can wrap all the aforementioned and even more into a tour. The golden circle tour takes you to all these places within one day. You can hop on the bus by BSi (Grey Line Iceland or Reykjavik Excursion). I took the former and the tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable. Don't forget public pools. Icelanders love their pools. There is a great one a short walking distance from Hallgrimskirgja. Heated with Geothermal power, you can enjoy the entire day there for a mere 1200 ISK. Go hunting for Northern Lights. Oh boy does the sky go drunk?! You can go with some Icelandic friends or simply take a tour. It is worth a million bucks! Go partying but be respectful! Icelanders are admirable people who enjoy their bars. They respect everyone but expect to be treated likewise. Women go to bars to drink and chill NOT to get laid. Respect that and you will have a field day. Party starts at 1 am and ends at 5 am. Unlike here in England where you are kicked out of most places by 12 am. Beer is expensive though so keep that in mind. Last but not least, try Icelandic Lamb and Fish. The lamb is beyond the world. Fish is also damn fresh. Most places have catch of the day in their lunch offer for a better price. My favorite was at a grill restaurant downtown whose name I have sadly forgotten. Finally, the water is 100% safe to drink from the tab. So, don't waste your money buying water. The sulfur smell is from the hot water only and usually goes away within a few minutes.
