I was about to head out to the hardware store to figure out how to install fridge line into Pex Pipe. Thanks to your video, no need to figure out anything, just go pick up the kit. Thanks for a well done video. By the way, a good quality tube cutter with a sharp/fresh blade would have worked a lot better in cutting that Pex. Or, of course, a Pex cutter would have been best. Thanks again.

After watching you do this I completely ignored the instructions and just hooked everything up skipped the marking the pipe step and it took me like 5 minutes to hook all this up. Lol thanks bud.

Thanks for the video. Our 3k fridge creates way too little ice. Wife asked me to hook up our old American made whirlpool in the garage. Plumber wanted 300 bucks to do this said Pex was tough to work with. Grew up sweating pipe with Pops and was worried this would be hard. Wife doesn’t mind if i buy new tools so I’ve got my coupon for HF and heading there for the tool! Thanks again.

I would buy the pex cutter tool. I think they are pretty reasonably priced at Home Depot etc. The only reason that I used the pipe cutter was that I already had it and figured I could use a razor knife if it didn't work.

Bro u saved me I had the 2 washers in wrong and was doing it wrong as he'll my kitchen remodeling guy left it for me to do and had the washers and caps apart sitting in The opened bag . Now I got this tytytyty

Your supposed to cut pex with snips that are specifically made for cutting plastic/pvc pipes

Loosen up fitting without removing plastic nut before inserting.

Just watched this. I bought the same kit. However, my water line is opposite. I have 1/4” copper coming up from the floor to the fridge. I can’t use the turn on valve, but need the other coupler. 😁 I’m about to try hooking it up. 😳 (The old copper tubing cracked at the fridge connection and leaked everywhere a few days ago.)

Unfortunately, I don't believe this kit works with copper line.

pex is real easy to use i dont use the plastic fitting not that there bad just dont trust them .. just a note the reason you had trouble witch im sure you figured out is you can use the copper tubing cutter but a friend that is in construcion// plummer guy told me to just buy the tool to cut the pex there like 15 bucks it cuts a clean edge so there no problem pushing the pex in to fitting... i bought it becouse i use it on fuel line hoses for 4x4 tractor truck hoses there again for a small one time job or if your not a macanical guy no need to buy just my 2 cents thats all ....

Just use pex cutters don't use copper pipe cutter
