Found that interesting, good to see and hear Dustin again, he has been a stranger as of late, good to listen to all the bantering going on again. I was just wondering about that a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for the video, enjoyed watching.

Been a while since you were on the pool the last time. I always wondered how liners were put in. You and DP did several jobs on this site working up to the pool build you and Dustin did. 👍Lookin' good!

Welcome back, Dustin. Missed you. Matt, I was in stitches watching you crawl under that liner. Whooo, that was a whole lotta work but it's gonna be gorgeous when done. It's always nice seeing a build all the way through. Thanks for sharing, Matt.

That looked like a lot of hard work getting that liner unfolded at first, then positioned. Let alone getting it hooked into the top fixing. Well done Dustin for all the work you have done on this job, hope Matt has looked after you in the meantime. Will be nice to see the finished item when all is done. Thanks for not forgetting us in the meantime. From UK.

Y’all did a great job on getting the liner installed,glad to see Dustin,he looks like he is doing good.that was a lot of work. I personally don’t like a pool with a liner,after certain amount of time,there will be problems as the liner gets older.that is my personal opinion and past experience with having one.great video as always.y’all just keep doing what you do best and carry on.be safe.😎😎😎👍👍👍

Afternoon Matt!!!! Just making a suggestion. When you fill the pool completely, you could call your local volunteer fire company and they might haul the water in for your customer. It would be a lot faster. Great job!!!! 🚒🚒🚒🚒🤔👍❤️📹😃

you can rent a water meter to hook up to a fire hydrant and use that to fill your pool and the meter will keep track of the water used. Or if are rich you can buy tanker trucks filled will already treated water. a fire hose will fill a 33000 gallon pool in under 3 hours
@nyamillennial4 ай бұрын
Never thought of that
@bradfordstroud90734 ай бұрын
I would have put 3 alignment pins in screw holes for covers in drain covers then install other screws then remove pins.
@nyamillennial4 ай бұрын
Can’t. Liner has to stay punctured free until screwed together then cut out hole. Otherwise you create a leak
@larryperdue5084 ай бұрын
You guys should have ordered a pool water truck 🚚 you can fill 10x faster and when you winterize they come out and drain the pool 😊😊😊

Howdy Matt, I got a question for ya if you don't mind me asking.. When yall was tucking the liner in the grove in between the ICF and deck pads is it held in by clips in the channel or is it just tucked in there tight enough to make it hold? Or it it like a wedged channel that it lay's in?
@nyamillennial4 ай бұрын
It is a channel in metal track called coping. The line has a wedge on back side. Push in pull down good to go

Matt, I'm watching Geoff(Bealy Good) build his castle and pools ,I didn't realize that the Pools required a liner (silly me ) some of the questions, will be on going to this method of construction ? Maybe because it's different a new way to do things ,but it still looks complicated .
@bobbrinkerhoff35924 ай бұрын
The Bealy pool doesn't use a liner , unlike this one . Matt and crew used true ICF , which has insulation on both sides of the form . Geoff used an ICF that has insulation on the outside only , he then formed the inside walls using plywood . His house uses the double insulated ICF . The only advantage that I can see to doing it the way that Geoff did is , he never has to drain his pool and replace a damaged liner . I doubt if he saved any money doing things that way , as he had to buy the plywood/ OSB for the inner forms , he definitely didn't save any time , or labor .
@cathiwim4 ай бұрын
@@bobbrinkerhoff3592but it only has to be done once. The liner may have to be replaced every few years.

With only one return, 2 floor drains, and no skimmer this pool does not have enough water flow and will be a nightmare to keep clean and chemicals in check.
