At least, his lunch is light and with a healthy drink. This time Jimmy can eat his banana leaf however he wish. No need to argue with ichang about the correct way to eat. Good balance Jimmy. Nasi lemak is like 'breakfast' to us 😂 that's why you can see there are a lot of nasi lemak stall early in the morning before 8 am and finish before 12 pm. Nasi lemak will definitely finish quickly as it is so limited bcs people will go for it early morning thats why nasi lemak finish before 10 if the stall is 'popular'.

Usually when people order nasi lemak they usually just get one or two "lauk".. 😂 I don't think I could eat that much. The reason they open so early and close early is that people will buy it on the way to work.

Jimmy! I loved your solo food tour!!! The range of emotion from joy to fear to relief. The food and how happy/jealous you made me feel! I remember many years ago working outside KL in Rawang and eating endless roti canai with teh tarik, watching the rain. Happy memories. Cannot wait to go back to Malaysia and show my wife on our honeymoon ❤ Cannot wait to see more!

The area where Nasi Lemak Kak Sannah is, is called Damansara Jaya. Near this area is a Mosque, called Masjid Mujahiddin. Every Friday, there is Friday prayers at this mosque and stalls will be set up to sell food. I have two favorite stalls: one selling ayam goreng and rice, and one selling nasi kerabu. Both very good. Beside the ayam goreng stall is a teh ice stall, also good. If you go around 12.15 noon, then timing is just nice because the stalls have just started business and Friday prayer crowd have not arrived (12.30 onwards it becomes very busy). Be warned that atmosphere is "very local", 😅 not organized and some parts dirty but over all its good food and fun experience for you.

Your "lucky" for escaping rain its just like Malaysian say "Nasib baik" and as for the coconut seller we say in Malay "Masa cari tak jumpa, bila tak cari jumpa banyak" means "when you want it you can't find but if you don't want it, it is everywhere".
