Watching someone grade Fran’s fashion without the context of the episode reminds you just how much the context of the episode matters when it comes to Fran’s fashion. I loved how the fashion was woven into the storylines so well.

the Nanny is not a product of its time. i dare to say the show its pretty innovative and ahead of its time. it sure had its moments, but overall the jokes and the way they handled certain topics such as lgbtq+ themes, misoginy, and other ones it does a damn good with making jokes around them instead of joking about them. they handled it with so much love and acceptance and respect because that's what Fran is. in and out of character. I love the fashion too sm!!! its camp at its finest

Fran Drescher has a life in looks video on Vogue’s KZbin channel and she goes into so much detail about many of these outfits so I highly recommend it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a tv character who’s clothes were so integrated into their character than Fran Fine. Maybe Sarah Jessica Parker from satc. Loved the video ❤ And as a Nanny fan Niles and CC getting together at the end did not make sense 😂 them hooking up was funny, but not them getting married.
