Dangai Ichigo is actually a perfect example of Miyamoto Musashi's principle of a battle. I think we can all achieve some kind of dangai through continues progression and gaining control over ourselves.

Not through continuous progression and gaining control over ourselves because the ones who we are trying to control are ourselves just like a finger which can't touch itself, a tongue can't taste itself and eyes can't see themselves. So the only way is to let go of all resistance just like what ichigo did during his training in dangai because any resistance is an act of trying to gain self-control which is a futile effort. Only when ichigo lets go of all resistance which is signified by ichigo letting go of his sword comes the immediate and ultimate understanding in bleach (also in life) that you and your zanpakto are not two. The immediaticity of this understanding is symbolized by ichigo getting stabbed by fused-zangetsu's sword.

Ichigo was able to achieve transcendence because he was taught by urahara to listen to his zanpaktou. A typical shunigami is trained to subdue their zanpaktou and that's including Aizen and most especially Zaraki. This is the swords man's journey. He picks up the sword, learns the sword, masters the sword, merges with the sword & lastly abandons the sword coming back full circle.

Zaraki didn't subdue his zanpaktou. He just never acknowledged it. He just wanted to battle. Well luckily for him his zanpaktou materialised as a child and stayed with him. I think Aizen understood his sword's powers but he didn't feel completed by it. He lost sight of his sword in the end and hence why the hogyouko deemed him weaker, hence the seal of urahara automatically activated.

One of my favorite things about aizen arc is that the whole point of the hogyoku is that mixing shinigami and hollow lets you break your potentiol limit and exceed anything you thought possible. But while aizan attempted to do this, ichigo kind did it on accident your zanpakto is a manifestation of your soul as a familier/weapon its a part of you and is kinda you. So his shinigami and hollow powers merging just made him exactly what aizan was attempting to do

I like the theory that while the other members of the five Noble families have a hereditary Zanpakuto that is passed down, but comes with a dangerous risk, the Shiba family instead have a technique that enables you to transcend to Godhood, but only if you are able to fully understand and accept yourself. I think that would be a nice way of illustrating that the Shiba family have always been more altruistic and willing to sacrifice themselves, just like how their ancestor opposed the mutilation of the Soul King and volunteered to take his place. Which could have hinted that he might have been on a similar level of transcendence as the Soul King.

Because most people didn't put the pieces together. Final getsuga tensho is nothing other than Quincy Letzt Stil. You use it to gain immense amounts of power momentarily, and then lose all your powers. We know for a fact that Ichigo at this point in time had NO shinigami powers (Ouetsu confirms this later in the story). Instead it was his Quincy powers pretending to be his shinigami powers. What is the final power up a quincy can use? Quincy Letzt Stil. Later on Quincy vollständig was introduced as a superior form, but there is nothing to argue here that final getsuga tensho is Quincy Letzt Stil. It has the exact same characteristics as Letzt Stil, and the name is literally the same. Letzt Stil means final style in German (which Quincy powers are based on, German names). Final getsuga tensho is basically the "final style". This entire video didn't understand absolutely anything about what final getsuga tensho was.

@@BigBoomOfDoom2 It was Quincy Letzt Stil combined with his Vasto Lorde level hollow powers. Basically the pinnacle of his hollow powers combined with the pinnacle of his Quincy powers. This is apparent from the fact that young Tensa Zangetsu has half his face covered with the vasto lord mask when we see the flashback of how Ichigo fought young Tensa Zangetsu to gain knowledge of final getsuga tenshou. This is also consistent with what old man Zangetsu told Ichigo later on. He was pretending to be his shinigami powers, and pitted those powers against Ichigos inner hollow to give him enough power to win the fights he was involved in. This kind of gives us an idea what butterflaizen was all about. His butterfly form looked angelic. What else has an angelic theme? Quincies. Quincy vollständig designs were always angelic in theme (with the elite stern Ritter having angelic halos over their heads, and talking about being godlike beings). Furthermore Quincy attacks use angelic names (in German) and angelic themes. Ywachs Kirchenlied Sankt-Zwinger, is German and means Holy church song, forced sanctum. The Quincy cross is obviously angelic in theme as well. Aizen looked like an angel in butterfly form, so ill take an educated guess that that was Aizen's Quincy form. In fact, that's exactly why his sword fused with his arm (and why Ichigos sword also fused with his arm). Remember the Quincy glove that uryuu had to put on? He basically fuses his weapon with his hand to become more powerful. And to become even more powerful, he removes the glove and gains Quincy Letzt Stil. Ichigo fusing his hand with his weapon, is basically him wearing his weapon like a glove, the Quincy theme is apparent. Once he takes his "glove" off again, he himself becomes the weapon, so he gains an ethereal blade while he has new armor on. Remember how uryuu suddenly had an armor on when he used Quincy Letzt Stil and how the bow came out of his back as ethereal form? Similarly, butterflaizen also merged his hand with his sword, following the same logic. Angelic look + fusing of the weapon with the hand. Only reason why Ichigo kept looking like a shinigami, is because Zangetsu was pretending to be his shinigami powers. So butterflaizen was Aizen's shinigami powers mixed with newly developing Quincy elements. Later on Hollow elements mixed in as well and he looked like a hollow in the final confrontation. Aizen clearly wasn't able to use Quincy Letzt Stil however, and neither was his hollow side developed, so he was beaten by Ichigo who had attained perfection in both his hollow and Quincy sides at this point (even if the pinnacle for his Quincy side only lasts a few seconds). I'm quite certain that this explains a whole bunch of questions that a reader might have had about what Aizen's transformations were.

A bit of build up here and there with vast amounts of rushed characters, coupled with rushed storylines, and then in the end a bunch of unresolved Threads that were just left dangling. Thousand blood year was total dogshit, and the anime Adaption is shining more light on how bad it is.

There is still something which needs to be said, you said that "this form came out of nowhere" which is not true. To understand we need to look at the power system of bleach. Now the power system in bleach is based on the relationship between a zanpakto & its user. The closer they are the stronger they become. That's why Shikai is all about learning the name of your zanpakto, bankai is all about forming a master-servant relationship. Now it was already stated that you need to put your spiritual energy into an empty blade (asauchi) to form your zanpakto that means zanpakto is a part of you because remember everything in bleach is made up of spiritual energy so putting your spiritual energy into a nameless blade means you are putting a part of yourself into that nameless blade. So that's how a relationship between a zanpakto and a user should be, that the user should understand that he and his Zanpakto are one and this understanding is the key to ultimate power in bleach. So during the final getsuga training by letting go of his sword ichigo also lets go of all his prejudices, and resistance towards his blade which is beautifully followed by hollow-zangetsu stabbing ichigo which symbolises the immediate understanding of oneness you will have once you let go of all prejudices and resistance. So I hope I was able to explain my point, thank you for reading.

actually I truly think this was the letzt stil that uryu used all the way back in the SS arc, just this time instead of only having his quincy power, that letzt stil is used by pouring all of his latent power into this one final getsuga, which ties in perfectly with the xcution arc where the method he regained his powers is identical to the way that uryu regained his power as well an "arrow" shot at a very close distance, however in ichigo's case it's a reishi sword stabbed into his heart, which is almost identical to the spirit weapon method uryu regained his power with

Nice explanation, but it still doesn't explain why Ichigo got so much stronger in such a brief period of time. Like you have to realize this. Aizen even prior to the hogyoku was probably in the top 5 soul reapers. He was exceptionally gifted in both combat and intellect. Combine that with the hogyoku and he became a transcended being. Ichigo does some training, accepts his zanpaktou and learns the final getsugatensho and somehow becomes far stronger than one of the strongest soul reapers that has also fused with the hogyoku. I am sorry, but that makes no sense whatsoever. Why is Ichigo that strong all of a sudden. It really doesn't scale properly with what we've seen from him so far in the story. For him to just play around with Aizen like he is some low level hollow is wild and really just makes this form feel like an asspull with all due respect.

@@hazey5736 okay here are few things, 1. Aizen didn't become a transcendent being. Aizen was under the delusion that he was a transcendent being and his bubble was busted when he was faced with a real transcendent being (i.e. ichigo). The case is different in the final arc where we see a true transcendent aizen. 2. Actually if you have read the manga you would know ichigo's backstory and why ichigo has that ridiculous amount of potential and about the "limiter" on his powers. So it's not really surprising that he became that powerful when his "limiter" is released and he is able to display his full potential. 3. If you have read CFYOW light novel then you would know that ancestors of the shiba clan were searching for a technique which will allow them to replace the soul king. Considering the fact that the final getsuga tenshou is a technique of shiba clan which allows the user to achieve great power. It's highly likely that "final getsuga" is the technique shiba ancestors came up with to replace the soul king. So basically ichigo came to a similar order of power to the soul king during his fight with aizen. So i guess that says a lot. ( I would recommend you to check out the video simourahara made on this, he was the first one to point this out.)

Through the series Kubo firmly shows us that you cant sense the spiritual power of someone who is vastly stronger than you, that's why normal people can't sense shinigami even next to them. But even as a normal human, Ichigo could sense them. Fast foward, Ichigo was the only one who could sense Aizen's power at all. At that point, Isshin didn't know if Ichigo had inherited Masaki's quincy powers, he only knew that his son was the only one with any hope of bridging the gap between them and Aizen's newfound strenght. That comes full circle whe *Aizen couldnt sense Dangai Ichigo's power as well* , no matter how further he evolved in that last battle. That's why he was so desperate at the end, he knew that even though he became everything he had envisioned as his perfect ascension, Ichigo was still so overwelmingly stronger than him that he couldn't even sense his power. Sensing someone's power in Bleach is the *bare minimum* you need to even hope to defeat them.

Before watching the video, the "strongest form" is wrong. Yhwach stated that True Shikai Ichigo is the strongest he's ever been, which means that True Shikai is superior if not equal to Mugetsu, and Mugetsu is superior to Dangai. Before y'all say "oh you're wrong Dangai and Mugetsu are the strongest form of Ichigo", it's a statement by Yhwach so I don't think I made a huge logical leap if I say that True Shikai Ichigo is superior or equal to Mugetsu.

This form and Mugetsu are his strongest forms. They're beyond bankai. Their power level at the Deicide Arc may have been less than or equal to the power level of TYBW True Shikai, but the forms themselves are literally beyond his highest form in TYBW. For a similar analogy, think of Dangai/Mugetsu as Super Saiyan. Base Goku in the Buu arc scales far above his Super Saiyan state in the Namek arc, but that doesn't make his base form stronger than his Ssj form.

one thing that people never understand is the fact that nobody could feel ichigos reiatsu anymore including Aizen. And aizen perfectly explained what is going on when others can not feel ur reiatsu anymore. Aizen was already so far ahead in strenght that he had to purposely reduce his reiatsu to let high-tier shinigami feel it. Yet Ichigo was so far ahead of aizen that not even aizen himself could feel ichigo's reiatsu anymore. People do not understand this one bit. Ichigo at the end arc who mastered all his powers and didn't got handicapped anymore by the old man, still could be felt by other shinigamis. This means that he was at least reiatsu wise way worse than dangai ichigo. Also I don't get that response from most, saying true bankai ichigo beats dangai ichigo, cuz zangetsu said that he always blocked ichigos reiatsu. sure he did, but there is no fucking way u can tell me dangai ichigo had reiatsu blocked. Zangetsu didn't block ichigo's reiatsu when he went dangai. also dangai could be some different type of form. People say dangai ichigo fully mastered his shinigami powers but that's it, while true bankai ichigo mastered everything. But i think dangai ichigo is a special form beyond "mastering a form" hence why he used final getsuga tenshou form to try and finish off aizen. He probably already was in a form that ends up in losing all of his powers. Maybe he used smth similar that the quincys use, like vollständig? Isn't vollständig a move that ends up in losing all of their powers? Since ichigo has quincy in himself, the old man probably unlocked vollständig on a over-trained ichigo to empower is strenght. In the end dangai ichigo or true bankai ichigo, neither of the both would make a difference vs yhwach because his ability was legit hacks. But dangai ichigo could have finished off yhwach with 1 swing before he awakens his real power, because he would be completely superior to everyone with his raw strenght. @@willsoe Its probably a varient of that, cause Mugetsu Ichigo was technically the 5th stage of a zanpaktou, The 4th stage Dangai was when the zanpaktou started to fuse with hin as shown in his arm, and the 5th stage is complete fusion. Its a technique and a form at the same time.

Sorry mate, you didn't understand what final getsuga tensho was. Any explanation of final getsuga tensho has to start with: final getsuga tensho is Quincy Letzt Stil. Kubo put all the pieces to the puzzle in the story, people just didn't put them together since they were so far apart in the story and apparently didn't pay much attention. Remember what Quincy Letzt Stil was? The Quincy merges his hand with his weapon (the glove is put on and cannot be taken off again, thus merging the weapon with the hand). Once the weapon is taken off (the glove), the weapon turns from a physical representation into an ethereal representation (a weapon made out of Reiatsu > ishidas glove turned into his bow made out of reishi), and your power is increased several magnitudes over your previous state, in exchange for losing your powers forever afterwards. Further more, Letzt Stil means final style in German (and all Quincy attacks are German names). Final style. Final getsuga tensho. Sound familiar? Furthermore, Ichigos hand was merged with his weapon, until he took it off (it became a sword made out of reishi instead). Ishida used it and went from a chump to being able to 1 shot Mayuri, who at that point in the story was basically an undefeatable Captain class opponent to our protagonists. So okay, the characteristics of Letzt Stil and final getsuga tensho are basically exactly identical, and the name is basically the exact same phrase. But what does a quincy technique have to do with Ichigo who is a shinigami? Reread the arc where Ichigo is training with Ouetsu to rebuild his swords. Turns out Ichigo actually never used his shinigami powers before, and instead was using his Quincy powers that were pretending to be his shinigami powers the entire time (old man zangetsu is the Quincy representation of Ichigos power). So there is absolutely no arguing here that Ichigo was actually only using his Quincy and hollow powers during the fake karakura town arc. He never used his shinigami powers until then. What's the final power up for a quincy? Letzt Stil. Characteristics are the exact same? Check. The weapon with the hand merging is the same, the weapon turning into a reishi weapon is the same, getting a massive power boost for a single attack once the glove/weapon is taken off is the same, and losing your entire power afterwards is the same. It's basically the same technique from a characteristics standpoint. Was Ichigo using Quincy powers at that time? Check. Ouetsu confirmed that Ichigo had never been using his shinigami powers until then. Old man zangetsu was making Ichigo use his Quincy powers, pretending to be his shinigami powers. Exact same name of the technique, Letzt Stil > final style > final getsuga tensho? Check. How did Ichigo regain his powers? In a similar way to ishida. In a life and death situation. Check. It's been obvious that final getsuga tensho can only be Quincy Letzt Stil. I could say it's the most logical explanation, but it's more than that. It's so in your face that any other explanation can be safely discarded.

Everything about the final getsuga tensho i can agree with however, ichigo has been using his shinigamj powers the whole time. His shinigamj powers isn’t separate from his hollow powers. I think Ichigo's hollow powers represent his id as an allusion to Freudian psychology. The shinigami power represent his super-ego, and when Ichigo was able to reconcile and accept these two parts of himself, he was able to grow as an individual. The quincy powers represent his ego btw, which keeps the id and super-ego in check.

I love Bleach, read the Manga Twice and watched the Anime and it was never even really explained what exactly his Bankai does. Like every other Bankai has some sort of Mechanic but Ichigos is never stated. That’s why i started to believe that his Bankai is basically exchanging Reiatsu for Physical Improvement. He becomes faster and stronger in his Bankai. And thats why i think that the Ultimate Getsuga Tensho is exchanging all of his Reiatsu, therefore loosing his Shinigami Powers, for an Insane Boost in every physical way. Tatsuki is able to feel Aizens crushing spiritual pressure but she isnt feeling anything from Ichigo. And Aizen even says himself that he is disappointed in Ichigo because he cant feel no spiritual Pressure anymore. The combination of his absurd reiatsu trough his Genes and consuming it all for Power was what made him so strong that not even Aizen was a Match against him.

Another wonderful video. While the final getsuga requires an understanding and acceptance of your powers, it also required a sacrifice. That is your zanpakto sacrifices itself for what YOU want. This is why black zangetsu was against it because he also knew that there were still things to protect Ichigo from. But in the end he agrees and so fuses/is tied with ichigo. You can say this was the ULTIMATE subjugation of a zanpakto. Also Ichigo isn't Smart because black zangetsu practically tells him the white zangetsu were his real powers but ichigo doesn't ask what he (black zangetsu) was - A Quincy. But to be fair I can't tell if anyone had realized it then 😂 so a great foreshadowing by Tite again 🥺

All of this makes so much sense up to the point where he completely dominates aizen easily without any thread at all and just toys with him and cuts him when he feels liek it and then randomly decides to use the mugetso and throw away his powers, which doesnt even kill aizen but rather weakens him enough to activate the sealing. The way it was depictured ichigo could have gone forever cutting him without being touched and never using his mugetso in the first place and this was where I was kinda disapointed at the choices of progression because up to that point ichigos reason for growth in power was to protect and so throwing all of it away when he didnt absolutely needed to just didnt make sense. It felt like the creator knew he was going to give him back powers later and so simply didnt see any issues with him using that move and forcefully implemented a developement in ichigo where he has to get over loosing all of his powers for the sake of story extension. But as the viewer who doesn´t know what will happen later using the mugetso at the point where he did was just not understandable

His mother was hollowfied? I don't remember that. I remember aizen making a hollow shinigami being that ultimately became the base of ichigo. That's why rukia kept saying he looks like that one shinigami that died. That was him that aizen tuned into hollow and eventually became part of ichigo. He already had the latent strong hollow power because of aizen, along with the powerful quincy and powerful shinigami bloodline. It's been a while since I've seen it but that's how I recall it.

From what I recall, aizen used the corpse of that shinigami rukia knew to make the hollow that ichigo's parents fought. This is also the reason why ichigo looks exactly like that shinigami, only with orange hair. That is why aizen always monitored ichigo and treats him like his experiment, because he is the byproduct of one of his creations.

And Ichigo became connected with this hollow because his mother got hollowfied but the howllow was somehow transferred to him or something like that. People always forget that in anime Aizen stated that he reached power beyond people imagination and they will not be able to feel his reiatsu because of difference in power. And Tatsuki when she first time saw Dangain Ichigo stated that she does not feel anything from him, but she could feel the Aizens reiatsu. That's a hint he was way stronger then Aizen and there is nothing to do with his power source being Quincy, Shinigami or Human. Ishin just felt that he can be the only one to stand up against Aizen because he was his father and he had to believe in him.

From a personal standpoint as cool as dangai Ichigo is and all that entails hims the concept of what that is and why it matters other than the obvious is hard to explain without the next two arcs giving further depth into one all the races, and two depth on what the hell happened with Ichigo prior to birth. That sentence Aizen cuts out because Isshin snatches his son faster than life was going to be he is half Quincy. He doesn't have this convo with tensa Zangestu or Old Man Zangestu until the TYBW. Dangai Ichigo is acceptance due to circumstances that supercede his need for Knowledge he learns only final getsuga and just massive boost through three months of nonstop unending training he knows nothing else. True Shikari and beyond is his at least fully knowing his heritage from both his father and the Old Man. Hell he still barely learns anything but seeing as how Ichigo powers have always been affected by how he looks, the horn of salvation the true bankai the ability to use a gran rey cero the natural activation of blut vein. He may not have mastery but the potential for growth if he ever gets some idea of formal training experiences in anything that he represents, just for example can he take the concepts of Hirenyaku Sonido and Flash Step, to create a whole new speed base movement for himself. Shoot I went on a tangent my point however is the explanation for the form or better understanding happen long after it shows itself. It may not be mentioned much but all the information we get makes it easier to get. Now if Ichigo began the merging process over the last ten to twelve with his true Shikai and or Bankai well there's more to talk about. Also Mugestu is a technique I would assume the stronger he gets the better and powerful it would be if ever used it again

I remember, I think, it being said at one point that the length of his zanpakuto chain represents his power level or something, and given this context, I realize it represents his connection/acceptance of his hollow side (chain clearly a hollow symbol), and i think its increase in length is a visual hint in how much stronger he is because of this training.

I think what you're referring to is said during one of the first couple, if not in THE first episode, but it wasn't referring to chains, but the blade size. Rukia explains to Ichigo how Captains would have blades as large as skyscrapers if they didn't suppress their reiatsu so that wouldn't happen. When she first sees Ichigos Shinigami form, she's also surprised by the the size of his blade, foreshadowing that he's way more powerful than was to be expected back then.

I want to point out that the final gestsuga is not something Isshin whipped out of no where just for Ichigo. It is perhaps a practice passed down from the Shiba family as each generation has a Gestsuga Zanpakuto (Isshin: Engetsu, Ichigo: Zangetsu). So perhaps the unique part about the getsu family is the ability for the Zanpakuto to acknowledge and sacrifice both themselves and the shingamis whole power to attain the ultimate Final Gestsuga (because it truly is the final) as their Final and last resort to defeat an overwhelmingly powerful opponent. And for that to happen the shinigami has to accept the blade of their Zanpakuto in its entirety. For ichigos case that means both his Quincy and Hollow has to be merged because together they are his Zanpakuto in its entirety. It is foreshadowed here by Kubo before TYBW. NO! the point of the Final Gestsuga is not for the Zanpakuto to merge and harmonize, and NO! Ichigo did not acknowledge this harmony as he still doesn't see White/Hollow as his Zanpakuto (just like us b4 TYBW) and that's why he had the trouble with finding an Asauchi, having to learn his past to figure out he really is, and even then he still doesn't 100% realize it until Old man Zangetsu told him that White is his Zanpakuto. But Ichigos final gestsuga being a culmination of all his being together could say that his final gestsuga is the strongest in all of history, but we don't know because there were no other records, for good reason I mean for a shinigami to lose all their power they become useless, just a common soul and they'll lose their place in the seireitei. But at least for Ichigo he is a human so it's not that big of a deal. Those are the only points in the video I wanted to address that slightly rubbed me off the wrong way. Tho I do agree that perhaps due to Ichigos mixed nature (like the soul king) his final gestsuga form transcends transcendent Aizen

Simo Urahara was right then in saying that Shiro is not a white version of Ichigo but a person aizen used to perform a hollow experiment with and put it in Ichigo's mother. In Shiro's original form he had Zanpakto as arms which is why in this form he is bound to Ichigo's arm. Tite Kubo is a creative genius.

The manga says Fulbright +shingami ichigo is stronger then dangai pre-mugestsu or even in mugetsu. Ginjo is later shown to be similar to ichigo has his modd swings make him weaker or stronger, so fullbring ichigo overpowered him due to his inconsistent reiatsu. This is why we don't have ichigo blowing mountains in full bring he has control due to fullbring training unlike ginjo who is mentally unstable.

@@gistr8792 it's pretty clear after reading this comment section people are taking the fact Ichigo got his powers back to mean he's at the same power level as when he lost them. I think that's far from the case

@@paranoidpanzerpenguin5262 ginjo is stronger then final form aizen, the battle was just made quick due to self doubt and guilt, it's highlighted in CFYOW ginjo is equal to full power bankai ichigo post TYBW when he is enraged and has a clear mind cause he is big weakness of being bad at controlling his power like ichigo while having the trauma of losing his loved ones making a mental block thats makes his reiatsu inconsistent making him easy to defeat. Also, kubo has said he is a quincy so he is 100% made to be ichigo's older brother from another mother. (Kubo worded it in a way that implies both his parents are quincy).

The thing i don't understand is if zangetsu is a part of ywbach(Quincy) and merges with hollow ichigo, doesn't this like kill the Quincy side? Since we have seen the hollowfied bankai killing the Quincy commanders

Maybe Ichigo really lost Soul Reaper portion permanently he inherited from Father but soul reaper portion and quincy portion he inherited from mother and arrancar hollow became dormant after 'Mugetsu'. Maybe before becoming dormant, those powers were also in play with Soul Reaper power inherited from Father when fighting against hogyoku fused Aizen in arrancar arc. If my above theory is true, then perhaps True Bankai form was almost either equal to Dangai form or little bit stronger or maybe little bit weaker because of permanent loss of Soul reaper portion inherited from Father.

I am waiting for DBZ to use up all the colours of the rainbow. Ichigo's eyes are the one thing that stood out to me even to this day: they way they radiate with power, confidence, and deep sadness. It's sad that there is no mention of this form in the later chapters, nor are the true forms of his inner spirits, or their merged form, shown again.

u forgot something, How did Ishin know about the final getsuga tensho? unless he have reached it himself once. from the conversation he had with Ichigo it was implied that he reached it, another proof is that Ishin was not able to use his shinigami powers for a long time, since the birth of ichigo, he managed to re-awaken them during the arancar arc against grand fisher, check the conversation he had with Kisuke Urahara again.

not like that. it was related with masaki. when masaki died isshin's powers are started to come back slowly. but it was too slowly so it took almost 7-8 years to use them again at war. he said "he couldnt succeed at final getsuga". when ichigo and him at dangai. and i guess final getsuga tensho is a soul reaper technique but we saw this different form cuz ichigo has also hollow and soul reaper powers. so the technique originally has maybe a different form at his final than ichigo's form.

that change of appearance in Ichigo's Bankai after training inside the Dangai is somehow similar to the change of Renji's Bankai? like Hihio Zabimaru into So-Oh Zabimaru but way much stronger, idk if I explained myself correctly

Not really, its more similar to change when Letzt Stil is used
