The animation for this episode was off the charts, studio pierrot on a seasonal schedule, is phenomenal, hoping boruto and black clover gets this treatment, we need consistency, not just one episode that has insane animation alone😊

If this is off the charts your standards must be very low or other shows like Freiren, JJK, DanDaDan, Mob Psycho, Demon Slayer, and Fate must be incomprehensible. It wasn’t even the best looking Bleach TYBW episode let alone the best animated thing Pierrot had ever made. Art and compositing =\= animation

Here is what I'm thinking happened with Ichigo Vs Yhwach. Ichigo is obviously with 3 liabilities (Chad, Ganju, Yoroichi) so he can't power up to his Max Shikai State and as such was going out of his way to fight Yhwach while suppressing himself and when Yhwach presented himself as even weaker then that suppressed state of Ichigo, Ichigo mistakenly concluded that even when he and Yhwach were at a decent distance from the others he didn't need to power up because Yhwach is weaker then his suppressed state anyways. So then when Yhwach opened The Almighty, Ichigo is still under the impression that he could fight because if we look at the powers of The Almighty, they don't seem to make Yhwach stronger through increase in Spiritual Pressure but rather by giving him access to a nigh unavoidable method of attacking, which is to attack the future of a person through the present, so Ichigo would have no reason to conclude that Yhwach isn't just doing a better job dodging then before vs activating some broken hax like he actually did. And by the time he would even get around to consider powering up, he is already waay to close to his friends so he can't do it unless he only wants Orihime to survive. I feel like the whole thing is calculated by Yhwach to make sure Ichigo doesn't End him whenever they meet everytime all the way until he finally doesn't need to rely on those weaknesses to confront Ichigo. An example of this planning or direction setting would be when Yhwach was about to leave for the Soul King Palace, if he didn't have Uryu there all of the Sternritters and himself would be sealed away in the Muken with Aizen right about now because no way in hell is any combination of these infants for top tiers going to stop Full Power Shikai Ichigo.
