You're so right about the stupidity of the decision to replace the good, intuitive and safe switch with those foil buttons. I bought the flat angle grinder anyway, because I really like it, and it's perfectly usable - but the power button makes me a bit afraid. What if one time I hurt myself and can't easily stop the machine in time?

Пълна порнография е тази марка , дрелката ми изпуши в ръцете , перфоратора ми не щеше да обръща движението заради нагорели пластинки а в сервизите не ги искат за ремонт защото нямало части за тях . Имам 20 годишен Бош 115 мм събран от 2 бракувани шлайфа , работи безотказно .

Oh My Goodness ! 93 Amperes as a peak current ?! So, the power consumed will be even 1860 Watts ?! Just staggering and unbelievable. I wonder how close or maybe how far from true Total discharge current shown by application is. Looking on a wires inside those equipment I am really unsure how they are able to handle so high current. The conductor cross-section of the cable is too small. Ok, maybe it is enough to provide 40 Amperes or even 45 Amperes only for a short bursts. Maybe it's a insane idea, but what do you think about verification of current values showed in mobile application by a clamp-on ammeter ? However, good and comprehensive show off ! Good job !

The batteries are marketed as 20V battieries, but the actual operating voltage is between 3 and 4.2v per cell, so overall 15 to 21 volts for the entire battery - the 8ah battery allows a max discharge current of 100A - so it does provide between 1500 and 2100 watts depending on charge level.

@@JC-XL You might be right, but I believe that 100 A current is nothing more but a peak current, which is available in short bursts (2 seconds usually). Judging by amount of current consumed by this angle grinder it should be supplied with a 10 Ah or better 12 Ah batteries.

@@limingpower2889 I don't know how long they can sustain 100A, but these new "smart" Parkside batteries contain 21700 Li-ion cells - 10 cells for the 8 Ah battery. I've seen high performance 21700 sells listed to be able to output 35, even 40 amps continuously. The 10 cells are connected 5S2P (5 in series, 2 in parallel) so I guess 100 amps will not be a problem for 30 sec to a minute, 50 amps continuous without a problem I think.

Are you that bad at cutting off with angle grinder or is the angle grinder so bad ? It stops in every cut,who wants a tool like that?

I am guessing it is demonstration under excessive pressure, how is different model coping with it... you would of course apply sensitive pressure... unless you are heavy handed :)

He pressed hard for the demonstration. I have the first version from the clip and it works without problems.

purpose of this behavior in my opinion is to protect battery... while 1st version in the video would not be stopped easily it could damage batteries, where second version is protecting overload more aggresively and 3rd is better optimized even... I guess it is a tradeoff

Благодаря ти за отделеното време пич. Абонирах се. Предния ден взех нископрофилния флекс. Първи на батерии ми е. Веднага ми направи впечатление че е таше , особено с тоя ненормален луфт между зъбите ама .. явно и предните са ташета. Имаш ли наблюдения на последния им четков на батерии , става ли ? Понеже имам няколко батерии парксайд и за това се ориентирах към ъглошлайф от тях ... или да търся друг производител ?

на моя D4 старт бутона след месец вече не държеше и ми върнаха парите щото не можели да го ремонтират, ама батерии и зарядно дето купих отделно си е набутване
