Best model, PWSAP 20Li D4 (with switch), is not available on German market any more,but maybe still on Czech or Polish markets? I'm using first model PWSAP 20Li B2 for over 3 years and it still works as on first day. When it is new, it's necessary to open gearbox and fix secondary bevel gear to shaft by Loctite, add grease a little, and it will last forever. I did it on mine and one brushed Parkside cordless angle grinder. That's my advice for any new angle grinder.

I have a basic question, because this information was missing in the video - what capacity were both batteries set to? Because it has been proven that it has a significant impact on the device's performance. And more importantly, did they both have the same setting?
@BrokeLifeEU10 ай бұрын
I have never connected these batteries to an app. I dont like the tool and app combo. I just like to use them as they come. So both on default setting. They have no more than 10 cycles each.

Once you are done with cutting with this systwm you spend just as long looking at it trying to figure out how to turn it off. Don‘t fix what isn‘t broken Parkside…
@abandonedbucharest770411 ай бұрын
For how long can you cut with the 8ah battery?
@BrokeLifeEU11 ай бұрын
Not too long. Every cut you see in the video I had about two attempts at. After that the batteries were down a bar. They were fully charged to begin with. And if having to use on of these on the last bar of battery they would not have as much power. So I‘d say about 15 cuts from this caliber and you drop a bar on the 8ah.
@abandonedbucharest770411 ай бұрын
@@BrokeLifeEU damn, they have to invent a 15ah battery for this grinder🤣
@BrokeLifeEU11 ай бұрын
Haha, would be too heavy. As if they used the puch type cells the batteries would be too expensive. But an 8Ah is honestly fine as long as you have too and won‘t be grinding for the entire day. In that case just use corded.
@DragonlordSVS4 ай бұрын
@@BrokeLifeEUA 12ah would be fine, it isn't as if it would run a lot of cuts anyway for the weight to matter, which weight tbh wouldn't be half as much as the 8ah since the weight is not increasing quite linearly with the number of cells. Heck personally I wouldn't have a problem with a 15ah either since I never run Li batteries of any brand bellow 1 bar. As soon as 1 bar pops it's time for battery switch or taking a break/doing something else, except if I really have to finish this particular job right now. Btw some named top brand do have 10ah+ batteries too.

If you don't any stall issues, keep it in speed 5 or 4. It will not stall!! At least A1 will not.
@BrokeLifeEU11 ай бұрын
I did want to test their limits sort of. There is a huge RPM difference but in my hands they felt identical in terms of cutting and grinding power. In terms of stalling it was also pretty much the same. On sale for €50 if you have 8Ah batteries lying around they should be alright. Can‘t compare with a corded though!

Great review! I'm going to buy the E6. But I'm curious: does it make a difference to use 4ah (smart) batteries instead of 8ah, in terms of power? I don't own the bigger ones and I'm unsure if I really need them
@BrokeLifeEU11 ай бұрын
Thank you! Yes, on speed 6 you need an 8Ah battery in order to use it fully. And run time is a big plus on the 8Ah battery. I feel the 4Ah batteries lose a bar as soon as they are on the tool. In any case an angle geinder is a very power thirsty tool so at 4Ah you won‘t get too much done, but if you have multiple 4Ah they should be enough for smaller jobs.

Cześć😊 wczoraj kupiłem mimo oglądanych testów model e6 i mam baterie smart.
@BrokeLifeEU10 ай бұрын
Cześć! Gratulacje!

The miss of a switch is a total non sense for a portative tool like this, especially for a "pro" way !

It feels unsafe to use without a proper switch. Difficult to switch on and even more difficult to switch off as you are avoiding the spinning disc bit.

Has anyone managed to convert the stupid control panel to a normal switch? Or at least make it remember the setting. If I wait 5 minutes it resets to speed 1 and I have to go back to 6
@BrokeLifeEU2 ай бұрын
I think your best bet in terms of that is just to get the D4 version. The last one with the physical button. Also I got a green one, it has an analogue speed control so it stays where you leave it and a normal trigger. I am also really not a fan of this membrane button stuff from Parkside. I follow a few tool testing channels here on youtube, i have always been curious about the enormus amount of tools you lust have after making all these videos! 😳 Do you still use the powertools that you know after a test session is weaker/worse then the winning tool?
@BrokeLifeEU11 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! It means s lot to read that you like the videos. I keeps me going and trying for bigger and better things! Some of the tools are not my own (Parkside tools). The ones from Aliexpress I buy and keep, because there is no other way to get them. After the tests I keep them just in case I come up with a new idea for the future. I do borrow tools from friends, especially for the comparison tests. In most cases they are in denial if the tool they have is not the better one. I would be the same if I were in their place. However none of us use the tools for any professional sort of use we are all the DIY sort of people so in most cases if it does the job it is good enough.
