You should get together with a model company, for example; Revell. Talk to them and see if you could maybe have a limited run of icon™ models made. Your vehicles and your affinity for modelling make it seem like a natural fit. I'd buy one... Just sayin. 😏

I'm sure you (with your obsession of assorted fabrics and materials) could come up with some sort of fine felt or analog thereof. Something you could use for interior carpeting that would hide the wires and any other evidence of its electric RC underpinnings.

great suggestion, I don't have the same passion for Chilewich that Jonathan does so you'll see in PT.12 I came up with something a little bit easier.
