800 ICP bag holder. ICP is basically the next evolution of the internet. It may possibly replace some blockchains entirely because it has the generality and tech to do so. ICP is a bit like buyig a smart phone instead of a camera, calculator, messaging service etc. seperately. If you need a great professional camera then go and get a professional camera. There might be great niche blockchains but ICP can do 75% of the job itself.

Might be counterintuitive but i think icp will attract a few big players (big business, governments, military, etc.,) before it attracts a lot of little players. Attracting the big players can shoot the price up for icp just as much as only having a lot of small time players.

Does SOL do anything onchain? I mean isn’t that the future? . Everything ICP does is on chain and ICP is building the new internet. All on chain. Cant compare the two. Are SOL stats somewhat fudged because some of the data that is used is not real transactions?

SOL does a huge amount on chain. It is more widely adopted and does a lot more volume and transactions than ICP. ICP still has a lot of work to do to catch up!

Using active wallets isn’t a good metric for icp because it’s not strictly a defi chain. Icp is a crypto cloud, you do r need a wallet to use it just like you don’t need a wallet to use KZbin or google.

What a crappy incompetent comparative transactions per sec analysis!! These two chains tech have different missions and purposes - Instead compare what they are designed for and capable in terms of use cases - THEN compare. IC is designed for all data and frontend apps on chain in an unhackable unstoppable cloud, Solana is designed for only tokens on chain. Their future role and value will be very different.

YOU CALCULATED icp TRANSACTIONS PER DAY 'INCORRECTLY', LOOK AT THE TRANSACTIONS PER SECOND AND MULTIPLY THAT by the amount seconds in one day . and there is your rel answer. For the chart you're looking at , thousands of transactions can amount to 1 ICP. It does not cost 1 ICP to make a transaction. that take was inaccurate on all counts.
