That will always happen, because this is a semi untethered jailbreak, you must use Unc0ver every single time you reboot to re-enable your jailbreak. Regular Apple IDs have 7 day certificates. U gotta go into alt store, Click my apps and then the + button in the top left corner, then select the unc0ver file and Wait for it to download. Then it should show up on your home-screen.

I’m having the same issue error message= download the lates version of iCloud from Apple ( not the Microsoft store) If you have iCloud installed please locate the Apple folder that was installed with iCloud. ThatKidMiguel - reinstall AltStore by installing alt server from the official website plug in your phone using its charger/ usb cable click on the altstore file install it / remove then install again then click on the AltStore icon in the hidden icons then click install AltStore then your iPhone put in your Apple ID and official password it will refresh AltStore and then you click the plus add unc0ver api rejailbreak bam your good to go

@@cvellas no, checkra1n is a lot less convenient. It is checkra1n that is semi-tethered. Unc0ver is semi-untethered. You will always need a computer to re-jailbreak with checkra1n but you can just use the app on the phone to re-jailbreak with Unc0ver.

If you're having trouble sideloading unc0ver then it's possible it's due to your windows antivirus blocking the sideload. Turn off antivirus, sideload, turn back on. worked for me.

for those (like me) that couldn't find the unc0ver .ipa on altstore, just download the .ipa from unc0ver website, put the file on your iCloud, and inside the altstore app, go to "my aps" tab click on the "+" symbol, and then download your .ipa, and that's it!

@Akki well it only takes 30 minutes to jailbreak. Did your phone get hot before auto Unlocks? What was revoked ?

@@brianwild4640 altserver was not working properly it was showing error 224411 kind of, then showing Incorrect password error was not taking diff apple id or one time password generated by appleid, after all that installed cydia added diff repos then first installed AutounlockX tweak phone started Heating before that installed reprovsion which signs apps automatically that works flawlessly then installed Weatherground, snowboard, Velox reloaded worked partially only 2 widgets activity and weather that's it, Payment apps stopped working tried to fix it by tweakrestriction but still not worked, all tweaks were not showing in setting so searched and downloaded Preference loader but still Phone was warm then i decided to uninstall everything 🤔 Jailbroken only for Widgets but not all of them worked so...

Matthew Wraa i managed to fix it, you should trust your phone to ur computer first, if ure on mac catalina go to finder - press on ur phone - trust phone. hope it helps!!

I don’t have a newer computer and can’t install Altstore on my older OS. Can you detail using 3uTools? I used that to JB my ipX on Windows 8 and it seemed to be a lot easier.

Went in to resign the altstore and installed uncover and clicked the jailbreak but when my phone comes back on and I click the Cydia app, it crashes

I did the jailbreak without computer and sadly it was unsigned so I went and did the method with computer and now I can happily say I’m jailbroken😎

For the no computer method, will my tweaks stop working when Uncover gets revoked again? Also for the computer method, does the jailbreak stop working if you restart your phone? I know checkrain does.

unc0ver is just a program that activates/reactivates your jailbreak. If the app is revoked, you cannot reactivate your tweaks or Cydia, but Cydia and all your tweaks remain on your device (just not for use tho). Regardless of the pc or no pc method, restarting your phone will deactivate the jailbreak as it is semi-untethered, meaning you’ll have to rejailbreak. The main difference between unc0ver and checkra1n is that checkra1n I believe is tethered where if you restart your device, you’ll have to plug your pc and run through the jailbreak process again. To others reading, reply to the comment to clarify or correct any info. Hope this helps!

Michael C So with Unc0ver I won’t need to plug my phone into a pc to get Cydia to work again? That’s the main issue I have with checkra1n. I have to use a pc to do the jailbreak all over again if my phone dies.

DonReax Exactly. Just restart your phone, open unc0ver, run through the jailbreaking process and the phone will reboot automatically. You can keep re-jailbreaking until the app is expired (after 7 days) *or* revoked (temporarily down if Apple blocks it or something). For this, many would recommend installing ReProvision (works better if unc0ver is installed with Altstore).

i have a problem where uninstalled tweaks are not showing up in cydia the two specific ones {i have no idea on how many are missing} are "carriercrack and :"GRIDER" (that is NOT a typo, it is an app that allows you to have grids on your screen} maybe they dropped a source I am on and A12 device with ios 13.5 (i did not upgrade to 13.5.1) thx!!!
