Both my ENT and family doctors didn't understand my issues. A test via audiologist found a problem. I researched and self diagnosed. Neither doc argued with my conclusion but said to get help and understanding, I need to go to NYC or Boston. Fine. I'd consider but don't have any idea where to start.

If you are able to get to Baltimore I highly recommend Dr Della Santina or any of the other providers in their ENT department. I also had good experiences at Mt Sinai’s vestibular therapy department in New York. Emory Dizziness and Balance Clinic in Atlanta is ran by Dr Jaffar Khan and who ultimately made my diagnosis. They have a wonderful team of specialists even some who have trained at Johns Hopkins. They’ve been a lot of help in this journey. Best of luck to you. I know the struggle!

I was diagnosed with BVL, PPPD and visual vertigo about a year ago. I also have ME/CFS, central sensitivity syndrome, insomnia, sound sensitivity and adjustment disorder.. I’m not the person I once were and I really do worry about my future..I’m trying to stay strong but it’s not easy.. I’ve started seeing an advanced vestibular therapist so I’m hoping she can help me in some way 🤞I know it’s not going to be easy to treat but I’ve got to live in hope..
