Icy conditions for Impact Weather Tuesday in Maryland

Meteorologist Alena Lee says it will be an Impact Weather day due to the wintry mix expected during Tuesday morning. A mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain could leave 0.01-0.05” of accumulating ice on elevated and untreated surfaces. The morning commute will be effected by this system so take your time on the roads. It will warm up into the low 40's by the afternoon when it will clear back up. Christmas will be sunny but chilly with temps in the low 40's and will be that way for the rest of the week.
