His state of mind is making the situation dangerous. The way the LEO stands there staring at the “Jaywalker” without saying a word while, in his peripheral vision, there is a person who has been hurt is odd. Why the female cop is not doing anything to help the person who has been hurt adds to the all-around creepiness of the video.

The lives destroyed by these tyrants is to many to count and so few stories are heard or the ones violated that try to fight back can't because of it or they don't have the financial means to fight the system.

There have been employment discrimination lawsuits where people were denied employment by police departments because they scored too highly on the intelligence test and the courts repeatedly ruled it was legal to discriminate against intelligent applicants as long as the standards were applied equally to all applicants. The court's assumption was the police have reason to want less intelligent officers. This video demonstrates this practice in action.

I have seen as well as talked to a lot of cops and I could say that majority of them are being trained to be that way, because they believe that they are above the law because they wear a badge and a gun. The only cop that I have witnessed is a very good cop is Officer Jordan she's a Marysville cop in California. She treats everyone with respect and she goes out of her way to help people out including homeless people. My boyfriend and I were homeless a few months ago, she went above and beyond to help us out. She even got us a place to stay (shelter), she went looking for us to tell us the news and I was in shock that she did that, and everytime she runs into us, she always asks how we're doing and if we need anything! That's the kind of cops that we need in America, because she does what the protect and serve means, not the other way around. We're not supposed to be protect their secrets and serve them, their secrets are don't say anything or you'll regret it and the serve means you do as I say or I will lock you up and on the way I'm going to kick your butt, so you follow the program or else! They're trained to be like that and it's not the right way to do it, but that's how they used to treat people like that back in the day! So we have to stand up and stop them if not then we're right back where we started from where they do whatever they want to us and we're supposed to be quiet, well I'm not going to be quiet and I'm not going to stop either just because they think they are above the law, we're paying their paychecks, but I would say that there is good cops and there is also bad ones, even if the bad ones can still change if they have a heart, the ones that don't then they should not be a cop!

So they have a guy that was hit by a car and the car and driver fled: a felony hit and run. Though they aren't required to take action themselves, they are required to ensure medical is coming if needed and/or requested. The other case was a misdemeanor of Jay walking that resulted in no injuries and was fine in a manner where there was no potential of harm. He should have dropped the lower crime to deal with the greater one, especially as the may have been time to get info and maybe a bolo for the hit and run car rather than wait for five to ten minutes when it may not be likely to be worth it due to the likelihood of finding the car lowering fast as time goes by.

Jay walking. Not the letter j. It comes from the word Jay, trying to someone that is foolish or a type to be ignored. The term was coined when people wanted to make the roads solely for cars and not people.

Of course he's more worried about someone flipping him off than helping someone who got hit by a car. His ego is threatened "Interference" right OMG the second greatest act of terrorism of all-J WALKING 😱 My town has an intersection that has a pedestrian signal activation problem sometimes. A friend of mine was stopped by an officer for doing that but when he told the officer that he'd waited for three whole cycles and it never turned the officer was willing to give him the benefit of a doubt and when the officer tried it it still didn't work. So the officer said "okay I'll make sure the city gets told & knows about"

We have a lawyer on our radio that said years ago that if you wait for a light for more than a five minutes and it doesn't turn green, make a safe passage through the intersection. If you receive a ticket, go to court and the judge will dismiss it.

It seems to be only in downtown areas or where people walk frequently that walk signals work properly. Where I live most don’t work or you wait 10 minutes for them to charge if they do work. Even the busy intersection it’s a hit or miss.

@@kurtwetzel154 Some states (Ohio is 4511.132) now have traffic laws allowing a driver to safely proceed into an intersection if a light is malfunctioning. It would be good to video yourself waiting for the light before proceeding through. Judges love video evidence.

@@chasman9662 Good to know but I was mentioning walk signals, a lot of them don’t work or if they work gu have to wait close to 20 minutes for the signal to change to walk. I know when it’s safe to walk and walk if no walk signal.

Unfortunately the courts have ruled that it is not the duty of cops to protect or render aid to the general public. However once they have taken you into custody then they have a legal duty to care for you. They obviously know that this guy is auditing them and are retaliating against that by picking up every minor thing he does in order to harass.
