What have we done to deserve 2 plasmo videos published so closely together? Whatever it was, let's keep doing it, team!

Rafale M (for « Marine »), c/n #2, from the French Aéronavale (French Navy Air Force), « Flottille 12 F » squadron, based in Landivisiau, France. Delivered to the service December 18th, 2000. Still in use to this day. I worked on these, this plane is a beauty and is deadly. You are spot on with the dirt on this plane. I remember the underside of them being pretty oily and greasy, whatever we could try to do to make them look cleaner. At least on the carrier.

Beautifully done sir! Very nice work indeed! I haven’t done a model in years, remember my last one was a 1/72 Hasegawa FB-111A and converted it to a RAAF F-111C. Finished that probably in 2006. Very rare and hard to find kit now. Got a few in the tash my wife has been wanting me to sell and I keep resisting. First model I used an airbrush on was a 1/72 Revell Harrier GR7 and think it was a reboxing of a Hasegawa kit. Now married, kids, mortgage etc. One day will get back on board and thank you for a very inspirational video!

Very nice job ! I would just mention that the Rafale M doesn't carry two scalp missiles under wings. The reason is if it lands on deck with just one unfired missile, it creates assymetrical flight and dangerous approach, so french navy equip Rafle with only one missile under central attach point.

Looks great. This video is my guide to building my HB Rafale C Hellenic version. All your videos are great and inspirational. P.S. I think that Hobby boss made a mistake with the canards. They should be placed slightly forward, compared to the original.

I have built 2 two seaters,French Air Force Tiger Meet specials(they sit alongside my HB Greek A-7 Tiger Meet special) the single seater looks good,if a bit basic, same as the 2 seaters. I don't have a problem with that fit issues I just remove or reduce the size of all of the locater pins and when completed fill and sand when and where needed. The nose weight is not necessarily needed for these kits(Rafale) because of the wide and long footprint of the landing gear(Single seater may be needed). I've always found Hobby Boss decals very easy to use and also use decal set and softener on them. Very nicely finished model. Edit:Microscale decal set(Micro Set) and softener(Micro Sol) work extremely well,as well as their Micro Krystal Klear canopy and lense glue product, its easy to work with and thinner than PVA and can be used as a gap filler for clear parts, also can be painted over when dry. Happy Modeling!

What a great build. I have often wondered why the Eurocanards are so spectacularly neglected by the mainstream manufacturers like Tamika, Hasegawa, Academy and the like. I know there is a Revell kit out there but I understand it’s a bear to build. Even this kit has its problems. Thanks for giving it some love.
