Idk if this is anything like regular goats, but I would imagine it is. You don't wanna eat a male goat, especially an adult like that. There's a very particular smell and taste to them that most people won't like. The meat is also tougher. I could ne wrong tho. Like I said, I don't know if these are like regular goats in that regard.

He pulled a tag and when you pull a tag it’s mostly u can kill it with your preferred weapon. He got close enough to kill it with the bow but never had a good shot so he didn’t take it risking injury of the animal so he waited for a better shot. But he never got a better shot so he didn’t shoot. It came down to the last day and he wanted to make sure he filled the goat tag so he shit it with a rifle to make sure he would fill the tage

Cam Hanes can probably buy that tag every year. Just like his reservation and private land owner tags he buys. Most people will never draw that lottery tag in ID ever again. If it was a resident elk or deer tag, sure because you can get otc tags in other states. With a bighorn or mountain goat tag you already have such low chances at drawing it makes zero sense. You will never even get the opportunity to harvest again.
