Russell Brand explained
@hbomb3702 жыл бұрын
He operates on a completely different plain to most of us. He inhales oxygen but exhales genius. Lines that would take even the smartest, wittiest, funniest, most progressive people minutes to put together; he delivers as if an afterthought. I think he’s actually one of the most under appreciated minds currently operating.

Watch his interview with craig Ferguson it's just beyond
@fergusbyett80883 жыл бұрын
@@liyemamthini2043 I think it's because Craig never approached his interviews with an agenda (and ofc he would show this by ripping up his cards as the guest sat down) - he was just interested in having a meaningful interaction with his guests. Most news/current affairs/late night don't give a shit about those kinds of meaningful interactions, just the 10 sec soundbite. In saying that, the tension in this interview between Russell just being himself and the hosts trying to present a version of themselves is just beautiful

Roberto Benigni, in Italian and in his best years, was in that league too. These guys can improvise and fire jokes at the speed of light, and when they let loose it's amazing to witness. It's also very challenging for colleagues to keep up and not feel upstaged, which is why these characters often are not particularly popular among their peers... For example I'd bet good money that Laura there will never be on a show with Russell ever again.

Russell is both a dream and a nightmare on live TV. Endlessly watchable and wildly unpredictable in all the best ways, where he really shines out performing anyone trying to interview him. A ratings gold mine who would also prefer that people don't watch tell-lie-vision at all.

@@glogmat it's sad that people dont realise how basic and simple it is to have proper manners and respect. Because the manner in which you act defines how people are treated by you... and simply having manners of this nature make people feel personally recognised, listened to and spoke to directly and in a way where everyone feels they are being given respectful attention whenever they are speaking or in a conversation, or being spoken about for example. Maybe that's why people feel it's so 'personal' and 'love how respectful he is' - because far too many people have either not been taught proper manners or decided they would refuse to afford their fellow humans proper respect at some point in their lives for whatever reason....

Most news shows, try to make a mockery of him, one way or the other. Russ picks up on me it, and throws it back in their face, everytime. If you don't understand why giving him that, was an insult, then that's why you don't understand him. Although, it is hard to tell, his true intent. He's certainly clever enough, to put on an array of disguises. But, he even speaks of that, and admits that he's...human...and has an ego. Few to no celebs do that. Even people who aren't famous, can't.

Interesting how you mention that balance between male and female energy, because that is quintessence underlying element of the world. Each has their advantages and disadvantages but neither would like to admit their flaws and would like to blame the other for the problems in the world.
