I’ve missed all the autumn mushrooms this year as I’ve just had my first baby. I can’t wait to find a safe way to explore the woodland with baby and get them into the same things as me :)

Congratulations on the new addition! I carried my son on a frontal chest type carrier. When he became bigger, say around 9m-1yo, I switched to a rucksack styled carrier (just mind their heads on doors and branches!).

Thanks for the video. Got your book the other day and very impressed. Clear and concise, just wish I'd remembered to get it a bit earlier in the year.

Thanks for this. Have you done a video on identifying The Blusher? I've looked through but couldn't find one.

It does feature in this vid kzbin.info/www/bejne/h3mmYYWwo9CnmJI at about minute 15. Its high on my list to do but I've been waiting to find it beside a panther cap for comparison in an ID vid..

true chanterelles have an apricot smell, i was very sceptical but it true for me, when you cut them it should be white flesh but they do have a slight yellow colour to the outer part, the folds run down the stipe. i found mine at haldon, devon

Are the wild mushroom kits worth trying? Amazon have a morel kit and a cep kit.

oyster or lions mane kits are reliable and a good place to start. Never tried any morel or porcini kits I'm afraid so cant comment.

@@WildFoodUK1 I don't see how a porcini kit can work, doesn't the mushroom need to form mycorrhizae with pine roots?

I have a question: I have just enrolled into your lovely group but in this beautiful season for fungi picking closer to London you have only 2 dates and they are all sold out. I do jot have a car and ateuggling to find a nice bunch of people to learn to pick up mushrooms but apparently this year, again it will nit be possible. How sad... why jot creating some extra courses around the area? Thanks if you can answer
