I’m always astonished by how little people seem to care that there’s a dude walking around with LITERAL FIRE FOR HAIR! AND IT’S BLUE! Idia is justifiably wary about people’s notice, it’s VERY THERE! But for some reason they’re more shocked by the tablet!

In one of his vendettas, he worries that people might discuss him because of his hair and something like this, and because of this, he didn’t even come to the dorm meeting(?) in person even though he promised to ortho and was scolded for it lol. But when you think about the appearance of some of the characters are and magically-fantazy possible setting and fact that they literally have ghosts and various animal-people, I think it’s logical that they are not that much surprised by just the fire in their hair. Plus Srouds family are kinda well known so people probably know about fire. Plus Grim has fure on his ears and everyone okay with that lol

It's odd how Idia can communicate well with others as the deputy director back Book 6 but he has a hard time when it comes to doing so as himself. Hits close to home.

It's most likely due to the fact that he has high authority in STYX and the rest of the NRC boys have no choice but to listen to him. STYX is also Idia's home he figures that they have no rights to truly judge him for anything he is doing

pls do idia & malleus, not as the ship but generally. I think Malleus beinf in his dream personally could be a pretty major plot key point, seeing how Idia works for STYX ansd has connections to the Jupiter stuff I forgot, but still I think it works
