Just made them for lunch today and it was amazeballs! Seriously, I have 2 more leftovers that I was too full to finish. I'll probably snack on it all day, even if it's not hot anymore. It was easier than making pizza and fun to try different variations! (I made cheese, cheese & pepperoni, mozzarella/feta/parsley/cinnamon versions) Thank you for the simple, step by step instructions! I'll be making it again for sure!

Excellent video. I lived in Izmir, Turkey from Jan 1974 to Jul 1977 and one of the things I miss most is the street venders meat pides. I've never been able to find something here in America that duplicates the taste. For some reason none of the Turkish restaurants here in America make Turkish Pide. At least none that I have found. BTW, your English is excellent! Very clear and understandable. Good job! :)

Thank you for the recipe! Caveat for everybody about the salt measurement in the dough though. There's a big difference between 1 tablespoon of course salt and 1 tablespoon of fine ground salt. I think the recipe is assuming course salt, which is about 10 g. That matches the typical amount of salt in basic dough recipes. 1 tablespoon of fine ground table salt would be A LOT.

Hello, my name is Oğuz, I have a pizzeria in the UK and would like to start making Lamacun and Pide in it. I have a wood fired oven, the stone is used for a Roman style pizza. I was wondering what temperature wpuld be best for Pide and Lamacun? Would you make the dough for both at 65% hydration. I would really appreciate a reply, your video is excellent.

Thank you for that beautiful recipe! Just one suggestion from what I know, it is always a better practice to not add salt onto the yeast as the salt will kill the yeast, and second, once it is mixed into the dough, it wont kill the yeast and then we can add the liquids. This is just a suggestion and once again, thanks for the recipie
