that is actually what the whole concept is about. *if* everyone on that car keeps their limbs inside and carries no food with them, then the lion wouldn't see a human but just one large, unnatural object which makes loud noises and smells bad and the passengers are safe. the word _if_ does a lot of heavy lifting here...

If anyone's wondering about 10:44 the only thing that "failed" was the roof over this guy's head. The tool in hand fell from the top of that structure through said roof, creating the hole... *and it still works!*

If a dog is coming at you looking like it’s going to bite you, you can kick the dog, you shouldn’t have to put up with the maybe or trusting the owner. Twice I’ve had dogs rushing at me barking, twice I’ve kicked those dogs - one was a pitbull and the owner was not accepting that I was in any sort of danger, but at least the other dog owner apologised to me for their dog’s behaviour Don’t accept the possibility of being attacked, dogs do serious damage and it’s not your fault if they’re hurt through your self defence. Every time I come across a dog I give it as much space as possible and get ready to defend. Known too many people attacked and scarred by dogs to be able to lie to myself about probably not going to be attacked

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that its because a hold down throttle will require you to grip the drill tightly, Which is not a good thing while using tools with a lot of vibrations as it can cause HAVS - Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome, Which can be quite serious. It's recommended not to grip these kind of tools too tightly. There are also recommended guidelines for hourly and daily exposure to vibrations cause by these types of tools

@@sholtodepuma hmm.. If I recall my own use of a jackhammer correctly - it's been a few years - they do have a bysicle-break-like handle to turn them on. And I would expect a jackhammer to cause a lot more vibrations than an augr. Plus, if you have a device designed to create torque, holding it firmly is imho needed. I would guess that such a device does indeed exist, but some workers disable it for convenience.

The last one is not a fail or idiots. The maker of this video just doesn't understand what is happening. There is backfill material in the back of the dump and the front is empty for the demo debris to be hauled away. Two birds, one stone. 21:35, at least, that is how it looks to me.
