These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.
@Oly_laura10 ай бұрын
Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. I know someone who made over $350k in this recession influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was through a financial advisor.
@martingiavarini10 ай бұрын
Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $21k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

You either need to add a coordinating conjunction between the second to last clause and the last clause or use a period instead of a comma. Also, you could use a semicolon, but you already use one between the first clause and the second; it would be a little strange to see double semicolons in one sentence. While I'm on the topic, why use a semicolon after the first clause? Using parataxis could be beneficial here to improve the rhythm and overall energy of your, instead, lackluster post. The semicolon you use here adds an unnecessary relationship to two ideas that already naturally connect. An economic way of writing is very effective, but it needs to be executed perfectly. There is less to work with, in written discourse, so the mistakes become more blaring. These mistakes include punctuation, which I believe many overlook; you display this oversight in your comment. I recommend purchasing a journal and practicing your writing skills. It'll do wonders for your communicative skills; I'm very serious. Also, reading will help sculpt a foundation for you to rely on. Hemingway would be a perfect addition to your journal writings. Happy I could help! Good luck!

Takeaways - Make a list of the people you dis/like and what it is you dis/like about them - "If you tell me who your heroes are, I can tell how you're going to turn out" - WB - "I've turned down business deals, because they were people I didn't want to work with" - WB - "As an act of leadership I created a sense of urgency" - BG - If you find your kid looking up inappropriate websites, you should talk to them about it, not try to block it out - The internet allows for easier offshoring, so education determines salaries more than region.

Fascinating how very different these two men are. Interesting to see Bill's interest in science, and Warren's disinterest. Bill's obvious inability to be excited about dairy Queen, and Warren's ability to see allocating capital to where it will generate profit as highly motivating. Fascinating too how much of Mr Buffet's responding is via rules of thumb that have become intuitions for him: "The chains of habit are to light to be felt until they are too strong to be broken". How Mr Gates, by contrast accesses System II everytime. And expresses his thoughts explicitly as theory. The two men are also similar. Both can think - very very well. Both have rich and deep general knowledge. Both work, hard, and love to work hard. And both are humble, and see all human beings as of equal merit. Be interesting now to enlarge the sample. A fascinating study: We're lucky, now, to be able to learn without enrolling at Wash U. Thanks!
