I’m only in my mid-40s, but I remember in the Dana Carvey days that if an actor broke character every once in a while, it was funny. This is 6 MINUTES STRAIGHT. And these aren’t bad actors. Bill Hader was terrific on Curb Your Enthusiasm in 3 different roles that’d make Peter Sellers or Eddie Murphy proud. It’s not the actors. It’s the audience.

In It Chapter 2 Bill breaks character so many times in the Chinese restaurant he ad libbed a lot in that scene too. That whole scene is my favorite of the movie.
