I watched this on HBO if it came on at a decent time about a year after this came out. It was an absolute fun filled thrill ride of a horror comedy. I liked the performances from Devon Sawa, Seth Green and Elden Henson. But what I really love about is the performance Jessica Alba gave. I loved her character of Molly, just so cute and all. But this movie was so hysterical and had some good kills too! I consider this an underrated scary movie as it is my second fave on my list of underrated scary movies. Great review, I knew ya'd like it!

we are so backwards here in australia can only buy this movie on dvd bought it today for $6 bargain! *i was born in 1991 *but i first watched it on pay tv (foxtel) in 2005 (i think) thumbs up for the review christian rachel from sunshine coast - queensland

Really fun seeing how much you enjoyed this film. I think I first saw it on HBO or one of those other premium channels in the year 2000 when I was about 12 years old. And I friggin' adored this movie. I'd watch it every single time it played for a few weeks there. Unfortunately, I never got around to buying it on video or DVD, so it's been far too long since I've seen it. Ended up ordering this Shout! Factory Blu-Ray and it just came this morning. Gonna try to watch it tonight. Really excited to see how it holds up. From the sound of your review, it seems like it holds up _very_ well.

I discovered "Idle Hands" on the Dead Meat KZbin channel, where the host James A. Janisse tallies up the victims in all our favorite horror movies. The film does have its charm. I do plan on hunting down a Blu-ray copy of the movie because of how hysterically funny it is. It didn't hesitate to remind us that this is the 1999 comedy that dares to give horror movies the BACKHAND. They even brought together an ensemble cast such as Devon Sawa (Little Giants, Casper, Now and Then, Wild America, Final Destination, Chucky TV series), Seth Green (It 1990, Airborne, Austin Powers, Without a Paddle, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed), Elden Hensen (The Mighty Ducks trilogy), Jessica Alba and Vivica A. Fox.

I never heard of this movie either until I started digging random horror videos on KZbin. I wonder what the difference is between this version and the regular bluray? The regular bluray is only 12 bucks. This collectors one is 24 dollars, Oh btw check out Deathgasm if you haven't. that's another fun horror movie I somehow missed.

Yes and No i just got a refund from shout. I went ahead and bought it off Amazon and now I have it. Came in a couple days very good condition with sharpe corners. I'm scared to pre order from scream now. But I emailed shout and they refunded me in 2 days.
