idle speed comtrol actuator

I have a 1999 Elantra. Same exact setup. My idle speed control actuator was bad. (Just went bad one day, no notice). I had to put it in neutral at traffic lights so I didn't rear-end anybody. I ordered one from eBay, (decent brand, under 30 bucks). It came in the mail. I changed it outside, on a 32 degree day. Took me under 5 minutes to change it. Started the car, ran perfect, and the check engine light, went out IMMEDIATELY. Been about 5 months now, and still running great... and my Elantra just rolled 200,000 miles. Take care of these old Hyundai's, and they'll take care of you. A guy who worked for Hyundai told me, the cars that were built in Korea, (mine), are way more dependable, and told me to keep it is long as I can. I intend to do just that. I refer to it as the Turdmobile, but in all honesty, been the most reliable car I've ever owned. (Except for the damned window regulators).

my 2000 Elantra has the same problem.. could you inform me on what you did to stop it from sucking up all the air and stopped it from making that hissing noise
