I mean, try not to be so easily influenced, you will only become part of the same problem. Jim Morrison for example was a military brat. Joe Strummer - a military brat... HELL, Shane McGowan even went to a private boarding school! My point is that you need to separate people's backgrounds with their social and political views. Especially in music. If everybody was defined by what their parents parents did we'd all still probably be speaking some other European language. Culture isn't sunned up in that way, morality is an expression and can't be defined by class. My dads been to prison but it doesn't stop me being a Tory (I'm not, btw). Just let the music speak for itself. You have named two good Irish up and coming bands, have seen one of them live. Great yeah, but doesn't mean I'll only listen to music based on whether or not it comes from a working class background like myself.

I'm in my 50's now but the buzz I'm getting from this band and their songs, is exactly the same buzz I got after I first heard punk back in 1976/77, when I was 8 years old! I work at a bar and this was/is the most lit fucking song during closing for me and a group of my co-workers, this track is a literal fucking hype train start to finish and would make all of us on the end of the shift start dancing, stomping and practically screaming these lyrics at the top of our lungs whenever it played in our closing playlist.
