Jonah was the real villain here. Spider-Man's business may have made him a little prideful but he still made lives better for superhero and helped improve human-mutant relations. Hiring the gunmen was a bit too far but he didn't actually get anyone killed. Jonah tried to murder spider-man over a conflict that HE STARTED by revealing his identity and putting him in danger.

I agree. I hate arrogant people but peter is not that arrogant. Yeah, he maybe kind of look down on almost everyone, but we can see him doing a real good job as businessman and actor. He also dont go "You guys suck". He kinda goes "You good, but im better". Sadly, peter self-blame symptom appear after daredevil death. Then he will just disappear from the radar, live with uncle ben and aunty may and be sad with the death of daredevil until he die.

J Jonah Jameson might be only second to Reverse Flash when it comes to be this dedicated to hating. In this universe, Spider-Man's identity is already public and he's not even fighting crime and yet Jonah still hates him. Daredevil dies just so Jonah can get his petty get back when he's the one who wanted smoke with Spider-Man in the first place. Jonah being a hater has to be a canon event, there's no other explanation.
