Of all the presentation videos on fishing equipment I have seen; I have never heard a more well demonstrated views on someone's product. You are truly a down's to earth person. Awesome stuff, very informative, this bloke needs to be on the fishing shows, then newbies and already knowledgeable fisher folk with greatly benefit from his experience and knowledge. I love my Alvey reels and rods just the best ive owned and used.

I love Alvey reels and rods plus the extra stuff they make . I own 3 Alvey reels and rod combos , brilliant gear , super strong and reliable , best part it's Australian made here in Australia. Easy to use the reels are , massive line capacity . Best reel I've ever owned .

Basic down to earth sticking to his products says it like it is no bullshit.That high speed alvey looks handy for how I fish in the UK.

Great info and great reels i use the sidecasters and i do alot of fishing with the 10" HD Handcasters in fiberglass nothing like catching 5 ft bullsharks on handcaster ..the sidecast reels are tough as nuts and for me if it aint Alvey its aint in the truck.

I have had a very good experience with contacting Alvey. I emailed and got a response from the Owner - not a minion! I then ordered some parts and they were sent that day (arriving 3 days later - normal Postage time for here). I was extremely impressed ! ! Cannot fault their Service ! I am still learning to use their reels, but that is another matter.

I bagged out on bream a couple of nights ago using my 600A Alvey. It’s over 30yrs old and operates just as good as the day I brought it. Got a 650A as well, it’s 40yrs old, still good 👍🏻

That was a great in site to avley reels...I'm from Brisbane and i still use my grandfather's reel today....I've heard that if you make a product to last a life time you'll go out of business...i so hope that never happens. Your products are amazing

I bought a 550 C5, I use it a little differently than this guy shows, but it casts a mile once you figure it out. I'm looking forward to taking it to Florida and fishing the surf with it.

G'day guys I came across Alvey when a friend of mine (young fellow) gave me his Alvey and rod cause he said " I cant fish with its crap" I still thank him to this day I have about 8 or 9 Alveys couple the same but mostly on different rods from small backerlite ones to surf rods and reels I have pull Alveys out of council cleans you give them a clean service polish and they are perfect I'll be fish Alvey reels to the day I die the only problem I found is they are addictive and I need more More MORE I tell you if your a young guy give Alvey a go watch a couple of videos on KZbin Alvey will change your fishing life I promise 👍🏻👍🏻thighs lines

mate they are the best for surf fishing, they get sand in them you just wash them in the salt, can't kill them. They are also cheap, indestructible and youd be amazed how far they cast.
