Here in Ireland I feel the guys' pain. Both our countries are absolute fцcking messes. Speaking of healthcare, you could be having a serious health emergency and be sitting all day in emergency care. My sister would have died randomly without knowing what was wrong with her, except she was living in SPAIN at the time, where she was expertly diagnosed and treated to an excellent standard within 3 months. SPAIN, a country known around Europe for having terrible healthcare, while here in Ireland you can't even get properly diagnosed if you even get to see a doctor. Same sister, she working her ass off while also going to college to further herself, while having to live in our aunt's tiny spare room because they're giving the few available housing we have left to any old drift wood that arrives in the country.

The last appointment I had was to discuss the surgery with the surgeon, this appointment did take 3 months to set up, but after that I was able to set up the surgery within the month. Before the surgery the nurses and doctors were fantastic, they did everything you could do to make a person feel comfortable before a surgery, and afterwards they were very direct on the things I needed to be aware of during the initial healing process. The physical therapy appointments have been quick and easy to set up, all of the physical therapists have been awesome. I don't know how well the US healthcare system has been going in other states but it's been great here in Wisconsin.

Is this in Canada? I'm absolutely appalled to hear how bad it is. It makes the UK health service seem like a utopia in comparison. I've got serious health issues and the NHS has been absolutely appalling to the point where it's caused so much trauma that dealing with them causes more stress than my actual health issues. But we've at least got an option to go private - in fact, I'm actually in the process of arranging an MRI from a private hospital. It will cost me around £400 which is a fair chunk of change, but it's affordable providing I save up for a couple of months. Holy shit.

The hospital waiting rooms in America, specifically in Chicago Illinois are just as bad, even in the Emergency Room. I had one friend who’s father was on death’s door because of the cancer he has, and once he checked in, he sat in that waiting room from 10am in the morning to 6pm, and they brought him into a check up room to take his vitals and then told him to wait until the doctor can check him into a room for him to stay because he needed a MRI and CT scan, and after that he waited from 6pm til 10pm, he called his daughter and she just picked him up to go home because he was tired of waiting, and being told to just wait a little longer, and plus the chaos of being in the hospital was getting to him, along with the pain he was in, he just wanted to lay down and go to sleep. It’s terrible for the elderly, I feel so bad for them.

In California, getting a doctors appointment where I live can take up to 6 months because we give everyone here Medicaid, including illegal immigrants. I’m not sure how it is in other states, but Medicaid here is 10x better than any other insurance. No copays for anything. It’s basically free all-encompassing healthcare. So people who shouldn’t even be here are going to the hospital for sniffles, clogging up the system and causing months long wait times for people who actually need care. That amount of time could mean life or death for someone with an undiagnosed illness. And then the cherry on top is the person who actually needs help has to pay $600 a month for blood thinners or other life saving treatment, while the Medicaid people get $1500 weight loss medication for free every 28 days. It really makes me sick.

In the past parents used to move in with their children in their old age to be taken care of, you know, the grandma who’s always knitting in the corner by the fire in their children’s home. Nowadays it’s either “bye pa/ma, off to the retirement home!” Where they rot in isolation and filth, or people just hope their parents die before they get that old so they don’t have to care for them. The more I see about those two (iDubbz and wife), the more I think we need some kid of poll test before you can vote. They must have tattoos telling them which hand is right and which is left, for crying out loud.

Civics test. I'm not even joking anymore. I don't care what the left screams about us anymore. And it must be in English or a recognized tribal language

WAIT TIMES in the US??? I can see ANY specialist of any type within 7-10 days. My husband had 17 surgeries over 5 yrs when they would have told him to wait or go die and they did everything beyond what they should have, to be honest, to keep him alive. He even thought so. Also, white and moley? Like every race doesn't have moles?? I made an appt to have a full body mole check and 8 days later I had it done. This was not because I had any issues that needed to be seen immediately this was just a general check.

I have had health care in Canada, China, Korea, and England, as well. I will take our overpriced care that isn't covered by insurance, (mine is not that expensive and I'm old with health issues), any day of the week.

Time to give Anissa the Voight-Kampf test. How much lifespan does she have left?

4 months to see a new dermatologist is actually pretty good if it's not an emergency. I had to switch to a different one because the one I was seeing left the practice. The next available appointment was 8 months. It didn't help that they were down a doctor.

I knew MAID was evil but those stories and stats are appalling. 1/4? Loved the politisperging, queuing for rotten potatoes? This was one of the best episodes you guys have done.

One of my best friends' mom died from kidney failure after waiting half a decade for a transplant and this was WELL before they started offering euthanasia for stuff like this. Canada in the state that its in would've euthanized Terry Fox

Not all apartments in Ontario start at $2000. In Toronto maybe but I live in Hamilton Ontario just outside of Toronto and I’m paying $990 a month.

That therapist she loves and brought in the show, I one time heard him rant about how kissing your parents on the mouth is normal in some cultures and you’re a bad and judgmental person if you judge them for it
