Let me talk about writing. Dear Ielts takers ALL you need to pass Ielts writing is on this channel. During my Ielts writing 2 , I was asked a unique question that ended with " is it a good or a bad thing". This was not your usual discuss two views and your opinion question. Thanks so much for these videos! I was studying for 2.5 months, and during the last week I was using your videos as a part of IELTS preparation, because my teacher got sick last minute and our classes were cancelled. I was struggling with writing task 1 as I couldn't finish a text in 20 minutes and I made many mistakes. Your videos really helped me to build text structure and find features in data to compare quickly. Also, I used your tips for other parts, and they were quite useful for understanding of how to deal with different types of questions. My exam was on October 26 and I got L 8.5, R 9.0, W 6.5, S 7.0, overall 8.0. My estimated goal was 7.0 overall, so I am totally happy. Thank you, Chris!

That’s so true. I do remember, when i was at high school and then university student. I was trying to finish my task before 9pm. Even, if half of the course was leftover, I didn’t mind, closing my books and going to bed around 9:30-10pm. Waking up as usual in the morning and didn’t study anything in the morning and just going to exam after having a good breakfast. I was usually very calm and in good mood. Believe me, I scored better than all of those who studied the whole night.

I am taking my exam tomorrow. Since morning, I have been having ambivalent feelings regarding the exam. I took one reading test where I scored a band of 6.5. After taking some proper rest and hydrating myself, I took another reading test where I scored a band of 7.5. To all the people who are giving their test tomorrow, I want them to know that they can do it and have faith in themselves. Do not let stress consume you at this crucial hour. You need to have sheer willpower that you can speak this language like other native speakers. If you think you can memorise as many fancy and attractive vocabulary as possible, you are causing more confusion to yourself. Listen to music to relax your brain before entering the examination hall. All the best.
