I’m from Vietnam and my speaking often ranges from 7 to 7.5, similar to my writing one. I just have no clue how to raise it to meet my expectations, that is until I came across this video, and I came to realization that what I’m missing out on is to speak naturally like a normal conversation. I used to be too focus on fancy grammar and advanced vocabulary which always puzzled my brain, but after having watched this video, I conclude that I just need to be myself, be more confident and be natural. Really great video with helpful and genuine information! Love it!

My speaking exam was today actually. Unfortunately, I got terribly sick yesterday and have to stay at the hospital for a while. In my view, this video is a sign that God sent me. I genuinely want to thank you for helping me out on my IELTS prep Chris! I barely had a week's worth of time to ready myself for the exam, and my practice routine was basically 80% watching your videos and 20% praying to god that i get a decent grade. I'm not even kidding, I took the IELTS test on the 8th of November and they gave me 7.5 for speaking. I wasn't satisfied with my score at all because I knew I could do better. I watched this video. Just this video. Asked to retake the speaking test and I just got my updated score back. 9/9 in speaking and an overall score of 8.5. I took the test on a computer and the results usually come out within a day or two here in Uzbekistan. I can't thank you enough 🙏😭!

U don't need to spend any money on online or offline coaching classes cuz all they can provide are tips on how to write the exams and can't help you improve your English. It's all up to you. If you consider yourself an average speaker, all you need is a week's practice. I'm Indian and not a native speaker. I registered 3 months back and my dates were last week. I didn't start preparing until last week so go ahead u can get all the tips u need on KZbin and chatgpt

Everyone learns differently, I've had good exposure to learning English since a young age, the only tip i can give u is to watch all the speaking samples they have on this channel and also practice with chatgpt, watch movies and series. Just don't think too much while u r actually giving the test, don't be artificial, talk as you speak naturally with confidence, be relaxed. You will do good 👍🏻

I have been through this situation In Speaking part 2, I got a difficult topic then I thought I’m gone and done but I tried to attempt it and some how managed it. Can you make instructions on how to go from band 7.0 to band 9 in speaking. I think this is where students plateau and get stuck for so long; also it think it is harder to pinpoint the difference

Hi there! There aren’t really difficult questions as such-it’s more about how you approach and develop your answers. For some guidance, check out the article on our website titled "IELTS Speaking Part 3 - 7 Common Questions". It covers common question types and can give you some useful strategies.
