As a musician and music producer, I use multiple IEMs. I have Rs. 2,000/- worth IEMs as well as Rs. 10,000/- worth IEMs. IEMs are not for normal consumers. The cheap IEMs are nothing but ordinary in-ear headphones in IEM shape. IEMs' true purpose is to reproduce sound as flat as possible. Obviously, flat audio won't sound good for most song listeners. So my advice is, don't get fooled by marketing gimmicks. IEMs are not for you if you are not a musician or an audiophile.

Bro, I disagree with what you said about iems are not for everyone because of mid focused tuning. first, iems are super subjective and there are so many different types out there. some are tuned with a focus on bass, others on vocals, and so on. You can’t just review an iem by saying it’s "clear" or the "bass is weak" like it’s a regular headphone. There’s way more to consider like sound signature, mids, lows, highs, soundstage, imaging, detail retrieval, build, comfort, price, and value. Plus, you can't just determine it's audio quality just by using it for 2 mins or 3 days because , you’re used to the V-shaped tuning on bluetooth earphones. so when suddenly switching to something different tuning can feel uncomfortable at first. but if you use it for a month or so, you might start hating your airpods because they don’t deliver the audio experience that a 2000 rs iem gives. airpods and iems have different purposes. you can't use a iem in gym or for other physical activity. so, airpods are more portable and convenient to use, while iems focus more on sound quality giving you better audio for the price. Different audiences buy these for different reasons, those who care about audio quality, like music lovers , nerds, sound engineers etc.. will go for iem, while casual users will prefer bluetooth earphones. so next time try to do a bit more research and cover all these aspects. Yeah Broh Same Problem With me Too, I Have Moondrop Chu 2, When I Use It With My MacBook, It Delivers Great Music But On My Mobile It Is Worse Than My Realme Buds T310. Bro you can get a mid level audio dac for around 700 which you can use to listen lossless audio and if you want to get your song in full quality you should have both hi-res dac and an apple music subscribtion coz they are providing lossless audios in mobile. The reason you get high quality audio in laptops not in mobile , the reason is laptops are built with better in-built amplifier than mobile phones.

Hi Bro! I have the KZ EDX pro IEM and I've been using it for about an year. I'd like to share some thoughts. If you decide to buy an IEM for the best music hearing purpose. Then you need a proper music delivering system either you mobile or PC or Ipod's with S-Master chip set in it. Now-a-days mobile phones from any brands they are not performing the music part as they were in like 2015 to 2019. I have my "REDMI note 5 pro" model and the effect and the clarity and the customization I have in that phone is not there in my new phone "MOTO G84" which has Dolby atmos support in it. So select the right device for your IEM's before feeling it is not performing well. I hope this will helps you. Thankyou!

IEMs are actually meant for stage use and not really meant for listening. you might've seen singers or artists wearing them on stage, they're IEMs.. IEMs are meant to reproduce sounds like the artist or the mix engineer intended it to be? no. they're meant for ENC and loudness with good sound separation for artists to hear each instrument clearly for them to perform well on stage. Basically wedges / stage monitors like he said in his previous hip hop thamiza video but these are earphone types. hence in-ear MONITORS. these IEMs provide better sound quality cos they're expensive for a wired earphone, while we buy TWS (which has battery, a mobo, a case and lots of tech into it) for the same price as this wired earphone. in this case he bought a wired earphone for 4k, meanwhile a lot of us use TWS under 2k (generally speaking) these IEMs are mostly dd and we have never used any DD earphone before and that also adds to the quality. Shure IEMs are somewhat expensive and they don't give you half the quality of these IEMs.. most of these IEMs are consumer earphones styled to be IEMs (you can use them on stage as well. As he says in the video that he got some monitors and listened to his songs and they were bad compared to their Sony system? YES THEY ARE BAD, but for consumers who are not used to it. once you know what to hear and how to hear, you will start hating all these consumer grade speaker systems and earphone/ headphones. they didn't even address that airpods have custom eq, dolby audio, spacial audio while these IEMs dont get any and still perform as good as the TWS

There are many things revolving around IEMs. There are dynamic driver IEMs, balanced driver IEMs, some have combination of both, some are planar and each has its own sound signature which you can map with the frequency graph you showed. Audiophile journey is about discovering our favourite sound signature which is a very costly endeavour 😢. Coming to DAC that is a totally different world, there are filters, oversampling algorithms and there are some with vaccum tubes which offer totally different sounds. Sound signature can vary with the tips you use too. Moondrop DAC you have has an Android app which lets you change some of these things. You can try them out. Coming to over the ear, there are open back and closed back headphones which offer completely different experience. Being an Audiophile is a whole new world, you can never go back to TWS or any other BT headphones once you find your sound signature.
