This is such perfect timing. Today I ended a 20+ years of “situation” that did not serve me or my son any good. I’ve known him since high school and also the father of our son and all he has done is string me along with false promises of commitment and marriage and we were never progressing forward. Our lives were on two different paths. I made the decision today to end that cycle. 🙏🏽❤️

I was seeing a guy who wasn't keen on planning dates. I like planning so he left it up to me! But eventually I became resentful because I was putting in all of the effort and he was just rocking up. Equal give and take is so important in a relationship. Don't let anyone take advantage!

I'm normally totally with you. But about the last one. If a man doesn't want to lable things after six weeks he isn't serious. That hasn't anything to do with the woman but all about the guy. He won't change his mind. You put your personal experience here but that creates the false hope of "But for ME he will change"... nope... And I'm happy married thanks also to your advices... Men are like taxis signs if they don't feel ready for a relationship they won't change their mind or show "available" 😂. Only in the movies and you have changed but not the other 99% of guys.
