Never heard of the Crystal Castles game before, but I have heard of Crystal Castles the Canadian electronic band. They named themselves after the crystal castles found in the animated TV show "She-Ra: Princess of Power", however, and not the even older game.

If Atari ever gets the Battlezone™ rights back from Devolver Digital they should add a Battlezone Hot Sauce. It should be F.U.B.A.R. Flavored. Fire "Ghost 🌶️" , Unami " Worcestershire", Mixed-Berry Compote, Ancho Chiles "Ground Poblano", and Ranch Dressing Spices.

In regards to your question about Zelda's inspiration, Adventure has not been listed as a primary influence, and it is unlikely that the game was well-known in Japan, as Atari did not have a strong foothold in that market. Instead, two of Zelda's primary inspirations are the Tower of Druaga and Hydlide from 1984, and looking back further than that, computer RPGs like Ultima and Wizardry. Computer nerds who played those complicated computer games were looking for ways to simplify it for arcades and consoles, which is also how we got Dragon Quest!
