It is meant to be a THIN layer on top of butter. THIN! I dont doubt at all that you found it thoroughly disgusting with the amount you used! Please, please tell me you know about The Geeky Chef cookbook- food from movies, shows, books and video games and the photos always look so good and on theme. Also the author always adds in little nods and jokes to to fans but it's still super enjoyable for someone like me that has probably only played like 3 different video games in my life. They are my absolute favourite books ever!

This is probably crazy late but I've found if you check the wackier health food shops--the very holistic, smell the patchouli from a mile off ones--they tend to stock a lot of the alternative nut and grain flours. You might have better luck with the barley and/or hazelnut flours there.

Word of advice for the pizza *let the dough rest longer!* When I first made the pizza it was skinny and way too dense so I let it rest in the freezer until the next day and it made a HUGE difference in the pizza! It was way more soft and fluffy like a pan pizza from Domino's!
