It is necessary to understand the meaning of our being comes from non-being. What it means for us in a concrete sense? The direct answer is, - our being is the result of the wishes of our parents. But if the wishes of our parents were sufficient for transport us from non-being to being, can we say they had sent in the being happiness and joyfulness, or sadness and suffering? No, they couldn't do it. Our being is valuable in itself, it's a really miracle and something unbeleivable, and all kind of positivity and negativity belong to the distance or gap between our non-being and being. Our happiness depend on our non-being, and our wisdom depend on the memory of death.

Need to look into it. Though based on my perusal ( i wouldnt dignify it by saying "study") of NDEs over the last 30 years, Sankara/Ramana/Rupert seem to be correct.

@@othernewsid2 Im not sure what NDEs have to do with it? Do you mean in the sense that a lot of ND-ers experience a sense of 'one-ness'? If so, that's hardly surprising, but what a person might experience in an NDE isn't the Brahma sayujya of a self-realised Jnani. Every NDE experience Ive heard is someone speaking about having a mind, whereas full moksha, as per the Advaita school, involves the complete dissolution of the mind. Which obviously. your average person who has an NDE, and who has no atma jnana, could not attain. In Jiva Goswami's achintya bheda abheda (oneness and difference) the liberated atma receives spiritual body formed out of pure, concentrated consciousness (chit ghana) by virtue of Krishna's antaranga shakti. It is with that body that the atma then serves Krishna in one of the 5 rasas or kinds of relationship (shanta, dasya, sakhya, vatsalya or madhurya)

Consciousness is primary, not awareness. Consciousness is like a flashlight out of which a beam of light is shining. Awareness is our ability to direct this beam of light in whatever direction and towards whatever (object) we want to be aware of. There could not be any awareness without Consciousness being there first.

But I have perceived (4 times) a blank screen being ajusted upon me by Consciousness. So I am not even the screen of Consciousness. I also had the experience of perceiving a huge field full of thoughts and content. And I asked: Is that Maya? And a sweet female voice answered: That is Consciousness. So, I am not even the Field of Consciousness because I am Aware of It. I am Pure Awareness. I am aware of whatever is happening on the screen of Consciousness.
