As much as I love this story the music really does throw off the tone in a lot of scenes especially this cliffhanger to pt 1, where it comes across as almost whimsical. This perfectly captures the importance of music & how it can effect the mood of a scene. By using the music from Genesis the shock, fear & suspense feels a lot more genuine & fit's the scene really well. It really showcases just how good this cliffhanger could have been. Great work 👍😉

Yes. The music they decided to use turns the whole story into a comedy, and I don't know what that annoying instrument is called but it reminds me of music classes in primary school, the wooden ribbed thing that you scrape with a baton. This is used through this story and I find it so childish and annoying. Why was the decision made to use this music for this story? Anyone know?

Nice use of the behind the scenes footage which had no music added yet, clip when the Doctor shouts "Daleks!" So we wouldn't hear the original music play under the new music you added. I did the same thing when I made a similar new music edit

I agree that the whimsical nature of the theme underplaying the Daleks in this story does lessen their menace, but there is certainly no faulting Blyton's composition for the temple and sacrifice music!!! That cue is terrifying and could fit quite easily into any of 'The Omen' films!!!
