One of my high school friends drove a black 70 Charger. That was in the late 80s. Big car.. especially by today's standards. The Sim view looks about 2 ft narrower than real life. Like a sport compact with Charger vent windows.

A '70 Charger must’ve been a beast to drive back then. Yeah, the sim view can definitely make it look a bit narrower than real life-it’s hard to capture the true scale of those big classic cars! 😄

@@ProjectSimRacing not a beast like this one. I think his had a fairly tired 440 in it. I'd never liked big cars. I was driving a 70 Beetle back then, and they were both from the lap belt only era. As someone who's been an accident in the vintage and new, watching your drift videos reminds me of how much I appreciate modern restraint systems

@heinous70 Yeah, safety has come a long way since then. It’s crazy to think about driving those classic cars with just lap belts. Modern restraint systems really make you appreciate how far technology has come. I’m sure that Beetle was a totally different experience compared to the Charger! 😄
