These visuals are just incredible! it looks so much fun to play these sims. I think the creators could add a feature where the vision fatigues over time too, like when you've been staring at something for so long your eyes tire and you begin to get anxiety and make slight mistakes. If they could implement something like that, so starting off the quality is all pin sharp and lucid, but then over time the windows get dirty, smoke fills the cockpit, everything becomes darker, faded, harder to decipher, noises become weird. That would add to the drama...

I apologize for my ignorance but how do you connect this podium hub on the base side? I have the CSL DD. I never changed the connector on the base side. I’ve been using the McLaren v2 this whole time. I want to update to different wheels with the option of other manufacturers. Thanks in advance

Since you’ve been using the McLaren V2, you likely still have the QR1, so I’d suggest going with that option. Unless you want to change to the new QR2 fanatec.com/eu-en/cat/index/sCategory/189?FAP+Banner&General+Links&a_aid=642e93a817bf2 The great thing is, you only need to set this up once! The Podium Hub stays connected to the Moza adapter, and when you get other Moza wheels like the TSW mozaracing.com/moza-tsw-steering-wheel?ref=VYCVzIGOMI0k4p you can quickly swap them using Moza’s quick connect system. Hope that makes sense and helps you out! 👍

Fantastic video and driving as always, that wheel looks surreal! What are your thoughts on LMU overall compared to other sims? I was maining ACC and the odd dabble in AMS2 until I got into iRacing and find that the best in most areas (bar graphics and cost) but think I will wait on LMU until early next year when it should be complete regards cars, tracks and hopefully some other elements too.

How did you make the display on th Moza wheel work with LMU? Everytime I click "configure" in Pithouse, Circuit de la Sarthe will not load anymore. I am following the discussion on LMU forum and it is a common error. So either you are lucky or you found the way to go 😁

@DVKajak I remember facing a similar issue. I found that plugging the Moza hub in for extra power helped, as the display wasn't getting enough power just from the PC USB. But now I get it, of course you’re talking about the little round screen on the wheel😴 Yeah, there is some noticeable latency if you focus on it. Honestly, I don’t pay much attention to it while driving, but I agree, if you're looking for it, it’s definitely there. Hopefully, they'll improve it with an update, but who knows, maybe that’s the best they can manage for now..

I really wanted to give LMU a fair shake, but the UI is just the worst. I have to exit a race, make graphics changes, wait 2-5 minutes to load back into a race and see what the changes did, not a good system. Once they get to ACC's level of ease of use, I'll give it another shot.

The Bentley wheel cost that much because it's the same wheel thats being used in the real Bentley Continental GT3 Pikes Peak edition 😉 But I get your point. I think they will come out with a much cheaper one at some point 😊

Too unrealistic. The collision at 3:33 would have been disastreous. You would have had a pretty damage on your front and perhaps wheel. If you wanne drive realistic, pls put the settings to realistic.

@Alexspeeed They’re actually already set to full realism 😉 Nothing is turned off! Sometimes the damage model in sims doesn’t quite capture the real-life consequences, but all settings are maxed out here.
