i have a question. wasn't it already "determined" that Imam Hussein would be martyred in Karbala (prophet zakariya was informed, as well as all of ahlulbayt). When it comes to the killers of Imam Hussein, weren't they also determined? Like, Imam Hussein told Shimr that the prophet informed him his killer would like a certain animal. The same for ayesha, didn't the prophet tell her the dogs would bark at her if she left her home to go against Imam Ali? Aren't those predetermined? sorry, my head is spinning with trying to process this 😭

That is not because of Qada wal Qadr, that is because of the knowledge of Allah swt, Allah swt didn't decided the actions of Shimr and Ayesha, but he knew what they were going to do. This was explained clearly in the previous episodes. Allah swt is above the dimensions of time and space, so He see all the universe past, present and future simultaneously. Hope this will help.

Yes Allahs powers makes your head spin like crazy, im not very knowledgable when it comes to decisions of Allah or just about Allah swt especially. But i will say this, predetermined is when somethings haven't occured already and determined meaning something has already occured. Like how when the prophet was given a soil of karbala by jibraeel and gave it to his wife and said that it would turn red if it the killing happened, then it turned red because like i said the killing happened. i know i may sound full of crap but i hope this helps😂

That's called prescience. A human has a freewill to do good or bad which is 'Action'. Predestination is totally different thing like a person who wasn't born as a shia but later in life he became one - which we call determined beforehand. We need to watch all the upcoming videos to even clarify further. Hope we can keep communication like this for future learnings as well. Peace!

Reply from Sayed Muhammad Baqer Qazwini: Salam Alaikom, Allah knew of it, but he did not predetermine such that one loses their free will. Allah knew that Shimr, using his free will, will kill Imam Hussain. This is only knowledge. Shimr willingly, knowingly and deliberately killed Imam Hussain. No one forced him to do that. Imam Hussain willingly accepted to be martyred in Karbala. He could have avoided that if he wanted to, and Allah would have found another to save religion. Nothing is forced upon us.
