It would be more satisfying if season 3 was make and in season 3 it is revealed that the jsdf is not the first army from another world to come its actually the axis powers that come first during ww2 the axis powers have planned for world domination. Bu they realized they won't be satisfied with only their world so they want to colonize another worlds so it is the beginning of the secret project unknown for a very very very long time. When they suceed making a portal to another world in 1940 when the war sides with the axis powers and were convinced of german victory they send twenty thousand troops and many tanks, mobile armored vehicle, planes, and artillery. When the first recon squad entered the portal they saw the another world where people uses magic and medeival stuff. This is the best scenario for the axis powers because they worry that the worst scenario will be that they will be teleported to another world that is stronger than the axis powers. So they start sending troops to conquer the countries basically using the golden opportunity to strengthen the reich. But unfortunately when the axis powers did a total sucess of the invasion in the another world the axis powers almost lost the war in their original world the earth and the axis in another world was warned of this. So they start operation valkyrie (i can't think another name so i uses valkyrie) to strengthen the defenses and start doing mandatory recruitment for preparation of the inevitable, the crush of the axis. Of course the people in another world will hate them that's what you think right? WRONG!!!! The germans have fooled them because the axis have inferiority in numbers they say that they are here to make people's live better. Some believe it some didn't believe it and even there are people who are fanatically believed in the axis and it looks like their lives are better and the start of the beginning of the golden age. Time has passed it is 1944 the germans were going to lose the war indefinitely there is no hope for victory in their original world. But they still hoped that the axis in the another world will find some kind of resources or some kind of creatures that could turn the tide. Unfortunately the another world expeditionary forces didn't find any kind of resources or some kind of creatures that will significantly help the germans turn the tide. Of course there are dragons but even though their almost invulnerability to german weaponry there are still things that could easily kill the dragons and the fact that they are almost impossible to control doesn't help either. Either way germany is falling to the soviets and the allies.
