If Grand Moff Tarkin Was Charged For His Crimes|Canon Only|(Mousait Styled)

If Wilhuff Tarkin(Peter Cushing, and Stephon Stanton)was charged for his war crimes against the Separatists, and Rebels. This only includes the Clone Wars series from 2008, Bad Batch, Rebels, Rogue One, and A New Hope. This is just Canon appearances, I'm aware he appears in comics, but that would take too long to research.

I just love how Tarkin gets worse overtime with his crimes. When he’s a Captain he doesn’t really commit anything serious, when he’s an Admiral he kills civilians, than when he’s a Grand Moff he be blowing up freakin planets!

While Tarkin destroying a planet is omnicide according to the Villains Wiki, it isn’t in real life. So, I have a solution. In these videos, we can call destroying planets “planetcide”.

I was going to originally put it as Omnicide, but it means eradication of all life on Earth(by nuclear war), but in Star Wars multiple planets have life so for now it’s genocide on a mass scale.

If you think about it, destroying a planet comes with a multitude of death penalties. First, there’s Omnicide, then there’s Mass property destruction, Mass ecocide (If the planet has trees and all that), Genocide if there are other sentient races on the planet, and finally, whatever the term is for destroying a planet (I’m going with Xenocide).

You still have to realize this impossible in the real world, it’s Genocide either way, because Xenocide means killing an entire alien species, and Alderaan is a mix(Mostly humans) Omnicide is the eradication of the human race. Your also mentioning ecocide and property destruction, those aren’t terms for war crimes(plus ecocide is not against the Geneva Convention)

And yet, what if Tarkin was assassinated in the Clone Wars before he ever rose to the position of 'Grand Moff', instead of being put on trial? Wouldn't that serve as a better solution, given the fact that morals mean nothing to this man?
