My dad used to work as a teacher in Baltimore and the happiest I ever saw him was when the high school kid who tore his shoulder muscle showed him his EMT certification. The staff care about kids a lot, they're just too wore down by silliness. They celebrated the end of the school year by throwing a fraternity-level party, only instead of vodka and Fireball and a ton of kegs they had Ole Smoky and Woodford Reserve and filled up a kiddie pool with jungle juice. Doesn't matter if they're inner-city or rural schools, a public school teacher can drink you under the table.

I wish they have some hardcore Potter-fan friend of them giving some ideas. The food in the cafeteria made from hippogriffs. The Potion master making pocket money by turning regular crystals into meth. In the metal detector, a kid try to smuggle a sword in his baseball hat.
