This is THE BEST tutorial for drying hair and getting volume I’ve ever seen. You explained everything at a tempo that was methodical, easy to follow, and showed us how to do it on our own heads. Most KZbin stylists demo on a manikin or a model which does not help the person who actually has to style the hair on her own head. So thank you!

Every blow dryer brush company should definitely have you as their spokesperson along with this video. It was so thoroughly informative as you took your time explaining to us the correct way to use the brush. I always wondered what I was doing wrong, I was drying my hair too much with the blow dryer, not rotating the brush enough. and not using smaller sections. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Thank you so much for this Gabi! My hair looks like yours when I dry it naturally only I have fine hair and a lot of it. It used to be a lot curlier but now that I have gray on the top, the top does something totally different now than what’s underneath I’m gonna give this a try and see if I can’t nail it.

I don't think I have ever seen a tutorial like this before. This is amazing Gabi. I learned so much from this... just the right way to dry the hair after sectioning. Everyone says section your hair but no one tells you what to do and how to angle your brush after. Thank you!! I enjoyed this thoroughly.

This is the first video I've watched on your channel and I'm very glad I found you. I live in SC, which is extremely humid, and your video has helped me tremendously! I am 65 y/o and just had my waist-length silver hair cut into a lightly layered bob and definitely needed guidance with the best way to use my dryer brush. I also want to say thank you for being "real." Your make-up is beautifully done and not over-the-top and you talk to us like you're in the room with us. omg gabi! you have changed my life!!! i am 80 and have a kind of aline bob (pure white) that i've never been able to manage very well between salon visits with only two hands. this blow dryer round brush combination (that i didn;t know existed) is brilliant and makes my two hands enough. and i have always used smootherizing products but this volumizing idea (with the brush that still straightens) is the winner and i never would have thought of it. i have exactly your texture hair and fineness and about the same length and even on this first try i look like i just walked out of the salon (if i do say so myself). a million thanks for such a detailed (but exactly the right amount) video. you are ny hair hero!!!!

Thanks for the tips! I use my hair dryer brush a lot and love it! It saves so much time! But I didn't know about the "mohawk section" and how to dry each part forward and backward like that. I am definitely trying that next time. Also, I think I use my flat iron on too high of heat sometimes. It really flattens the hair too much and makes it look too piecey.

Excellent tutorial. I have the same texture as yours, Gabi. And I bought the TYMO. When I take the time to section my hair, I get amazing results. But, I am impatient and just blow with my regular dryer with my head upside down and let it do its thing, accepting whatever happens, then tame it with a curling iron. It’s “fine” but need to realize great results are an investment in time and practice.

Best, most informative video I've ever seen on hair styling. Exactly addressed all my drying issues. Tried a blow out brush & couldn't believe how fast it dried & styled my hair but am so glad for this video as I dried hair while still wet & could easily destroy my already damaged hair. In my 70s totally gone gun metal grey over covid plus become very fine, must look to my diet. Question please, Revlon has just released a volumizer with the standard plus a small 64cm barrel. My hair is about your length & style, am thinking the slightly smaller barrel would be even better as they say it can be used close to the roots of the hair. Plus it now has an added Cool setting. Thoughts please?

This was excellent. I too have done frizzy hair and I have trouble with the volume at the crown. This was so helpful. Will be trying the techniques tomorrow.

Thank you Gabi. I'm new to your channel and have learned a lot. I've had a blow dryer brush off and on for years and now FINALLY I'm getting the results I've always seen others get. I also bought the TYMO and love it. Thank you!

Thank you! I've had a blow brush for years, and I layer the hair, as you said. It looks nice, but I haven't ever been satisfied with the crown area. Voila! You just fixed that! I'm excited.

I have a Calista blow dry brush and it works well. I learned several tips from this video to get more volume on top (pull hair up and then forward), maybe smaller sections, that I'm going to try.

Hi Gabi, I love watching you do your hair and I would give anything to be able to use a brush like you do, I guess I'm gonna to have to practice more but I just can't seem to coordinate the brush to do what I want it to do, you make it look so easy. I saw you using the hair dryer,I love it, thank you again, I'm so glad that I was the winner, take care, and thanks again.

This is exactly what I've always done, but I've never used a blowdryer-brush, just blowdryer + round brush. I can't wait to try the blowdryer-brush. I was a bit intimidated by the size and was never clear on technique but now I see it's exactly the same thing I'm already doing.

You will never go back to a round brush and blowdryer again! This is SO SO SO much easier. I feel like I have two left hands now when I try to blow my hair out the traditional way and I am a hairdresser who has been doing this for 17 years lol! I am so confident that you will LOVE this tool.

So now you have a new subscriber, and I have gone down the Glam Girl Gabi rabbit hole! Thank you! (P.S. I appreciate the over-50 stuff, too!)

Thank you so much for this video! Your post specifically caught my eye because I have this hair brush / dryer. Also my hair is approximately the same length of yours and absolutely the same texture when it dries naturally! I'm usually fearful of over drying my hair with this brush so I stopped just short of dry and I still end up with a frizzy Lumpy mess. I followed your tutorial exactly and for the first time in a year managed to get my hair the way I wanted it to look with this brush! Abs it's stayed that way all day and night without turning into brillo again! Of course I had to subscribe because this girl knows her business!, thank you so much! ❤
