Every blow dryer brush company should definitely have you as their spokesperson along with this video. It was so thoroughly informative as you took your time explaining to us the correct way to use the brush. I always wondered what I was doing wrong, I was drying my hair too much with the blow dryer, not rotating the brush enough. and not using smaller sections. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

This is THE BEST tutorial for drying hair and getting volume I’ve ever seen. You explained everything at a tempo that was methodical, easy to follow, and showed us how to do it on our own heads. Most KZbin stylists demo on a manikin or a model which does not help the person who actually has to style the hair on her own head. So thank you!

Thank you so much for this Gabi! My hair looks like yours when I dry it naturally only I have fine hair and a lot of it. It used to be a lot curlier but now that I have gray on the top, the top does something totally different now than what’s underneath I’m gonna give this a try and see if I can’t nail it.

I don't think I have ever seen a tutorial like this before. This is amazing Gabi. I learned so much from this... just the right way to dry the hair after sectioning. Ok, I was skeptical at first. But I followed your tips, and I FINALLY am able to reproduce what my stylist does! Usually I look great for the first 3 days and then back to my unglossy, unlisted “normal”. The root lifter, the application of volumizer to the mid and ends, and the Mohawk (genius) took it next level. I can’t thank you enough!

omg gabi! you have changed my life!!! i am 80 and have a kind of aline bob (pure white) that i've never been able to manage very well between salon visits with only two hands. this blow dryer round brush combination (that i didn;t know existed) is brilliant and makes my two hands enough. and i have always used smootherizing products but this volumizing idea (with the brush that still straightens) is the winner and i never would have thought of it. i have exactly your texture hair and fineness and about the same length and even on this first try i look like i just walked out of the salon (if i do say so myself). a million thanks for such a detailed (but exactly the right amount) video. you are ny hair hero!!!!

Kim that is SO AWESOME to hear! That took is an absolute game changer. As soon as you master it, its like VA VOOM! You will never reach for a flat iron ever again. I forgot to link the hairdryer (sorry about that!) I have added it to the description box now. It is this one: Blowdryer | TYMO AIRHYPE LITE: go.shopmy.us/p-2589550

I have wavy (not quite curly) frizzy hair. I found the blowout brush a while ago and fell in love with it. I recently tossed my old one as it was getting way too hot. I ordered a Lange one, and am not sure how much I love it yet. This video is so helpful! I was one of "those people" who was not quite using my brush correctly and ending up with some frizz still in my hair. I love the way that you explained this so completely and step by step.

I love these brushes. I got so tired of holding a separate brush with a blowdryer, killed my hands. And as you have pointed out in other videos they are not all created equal. I got one on Amazon and it worked fine, but then I got another one with interchangeable round and flat brushes, and the round brush on that one most definitely gets my hair smoother than the old model. I waited so many years for a tool like this, similar to how in the we didn't have flat irons until 1995/96 (I was so sick of having to do roller sets). The brushes we had before the 2010 were small and less effective 🙂

You are amazing! My hair was long and down to the middle of my back until I got it cut this past week. I was really worried about styling it the first time. I have had a dryer brush for years, but had no luck with it till now! I did every step, root boost, volumizing mouse, rough dry and sectioned. I wish I could post a picture to show the volume! Thank you so much for the amazing videos you share. 😊

I tried the Better not Younger shampoo and conditioner, and was also very pleased with those products, a lot of added softness and shine to my fine, thin, frizzy hair. Unfortunately you are right about the scent, I don’t know how to describe it other than “old lady”! If they could change that their products would be so much better.

Excellent tutorial. I have the same texture as yours, Gabi. And I bought the TYMO. When I take the time to section my hair, I get amazing results. But, I am impatient and just blow with my regular dryer with my head upside down and let it do its thing, accepting whatever happens, then tame it with a curling iron. It’s “fine” but need to realize great results are an investment in time and practice.
@GlamGirlGabi
@GlamGirlGabi Жыл бұрын
Hey!! Yes you’re right. Great results require time unfortunately. But the benefit to doing it slowly and properly is that you don’t have to do it as often because it will last a couple of days!

I have thick curly hair so I let it almost dry, and dry it Mohawk method, spraying each piece with Colorwow Dreamcoat. I put the Tymo Hot Air Brush on high for about 30 seconds and turn down to low, rolling the brush and pulling it taught to finish drying and smoothing and roll each piece on a brush roller and keep drying my whole head. This tool and Gaby has changed my life.

YESSSS! This is EXACTLY how you should do it!!! Going cooler in the temperature is super smart too because you are controlling with heat and then setting the hair (while minimizing heat damage). Way to go Vicki!
