The beauty and the brilliance of the Beatles harmonies is that they are deceptively simple. The melodies and the lyrics go by so easily that the complexity of the songwriting and the arranging just kind of gets missed. Which, in and of itself, isn't always bad. The 'hum-a-long" nature of the tune and simple hooks made the songs stick in your mind - even if you didn't know all the words. "And I Love Here" "Ringo's Theme (This Boy)" "I'm Happy Just To Dance With You" "Paperback Writer" "All You Need Is Love"

Do not worry, many people are happy with your Beatles' journey, it's always pleasant to see newcomers enjoying their music. In your free time you can take a look at the version in the movie, very very good, John sings it to Ringo who is upset and really serious, finally Ringo smiles to John and that's the best part of the song, it's lovely.
@mikeguerrero723 жыл бұрын
I believe this is one of their best efforts and not given the credit. Everyone loves it, me included. John does the low end of the harmony and Paul does the high part. What I love about it is it start with John solo then they do harmony. I love the way that it's harmony and then John and Paul sing together, no harmony. So, it's no harmony then harmony the same then harmony and back and forth. When people sing along, they seem to always sing Paul's high part. It isn't that easy to sing John's part. I finally was able to zero in on John's voice and now when I hear it, I sing John's part. I agree with you 100% on your comment of the song being 'ear candy. That's exactly what I think to. When The Beatles were first starting out (after their big splash on The Ed Sullivan Show), they were writing 3 songs a day. At one point, in the beginning, they had 5 songs in the top 10 at once. I believe when the did the Ed Sullivan Show they had something like 72 million people watching. Not all that much by today's standards with so many channels with cable. At that time there were only 3 stations to watch. ABC-TV, CBS-TV and NBC-TV. So numbers like they drew were unheard-of. These guys were bigger than big and their music is still loved today by all ages. Great reaction my friend. I'll be watching you again. Stay safe.
